i always get out the canoe and wade just below rapids and cast up into them and reel just fast enough to keep contact with lure. usually always out performs everyone else who doesnt put up the extra effort and just casts across the stream

no one cares about your opinion when it contradicts itself in every way. what exactly is so different between the shiners you admit to using for bait and the sun fish you couldnt hook that was " better than to be used as bait." what did you do throw him back in hoping for him to find nemo? what is the difference between a field mouse or any other of god's creatures being used as bait. Ive done it occasionally at a pond so send me to jail I reckon. why dont you go put on your PETA pajamas and hit the sack pal. and by the way i am a tournament angler, i enjoy fishing artificials for bass due to the SPORT of it. that does not mean i turn my nose to anyone fishing just because their not doing it like me. dont be so quick to label a group of people buddy.

i have the jackall jig heads as well. i know your supposed to wacky rig them on the jighead what i was wondering was is there anyways to preserve the worms when rigging like this.

ive used em all but have caught some of my biggest on just a plain old finesse worm, zooms or berkleys hand poured. used to use just shad colors but have caught them on greens real good last year.

i recently ordered a few of these and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. also wondering if there are any tricks to wacky rigging them like with a senko to keep from tearing up so many worms. like using o rings or split rings to attach to hook.

if you can find any stained shallow tributaries i like to shallow crank up untill the spawn. beats slowing down.

Funny you should mention the ohio river. My wife's uncle caught two condoms on the same day on the ohio. Needless to say he lost two baits we call those the james river jellyfish

yea it kills the mouse when a bass hits usually. but the mouse usually doesnt live long enough to drown. watch these videos ones of a chipmunk the others a squirrel

anyone ever tried fishing with field mice? ive caught some monsters on them. cant force myself to hook one but rubber band them to the hook and toss em out and let em swim.
