  1. Lol, that's awesome.
  2. They looked great in the last drive. That's all that counts.
  3. In it's simplest form, yes. Like everything else you can complicate things. I have different floats for different flows and there are as many shot patterns for different current.
  4. I joined the dark side a few years ago.
  5. Tom, My link is from the demolition of a dam on the White Salmon River. ~JF
  6. Four more posts repeating what I said, lol. Curious, who from the NFC East would go to the playoffs if not the Cowboys? The Giants? Lmao.
  7. Here's the problem I have....so x number loons died of lead poisoning. Did x decrease after the lead bans? Never does. What's the point? And what percentage of the loon population are we talking about? I mean they found twenty something dead loons. How many loons are there? People have an emotional link to loons, and the people behind the study link loon health to environmental health. They also sensationalize the lead tackle as dangerous. In it's inert state, it isn't.
  8. It's not a stance or edict....it's an observation. I fish Erie and Ontario mostly. Where I catch smallies, I NEVER catch sunfish. Drum, gobies, perch, yes.
  9. Same to you and Go Cowboys!
  10. Because they are no longer sponsors.
  11. Nice spike.
  12. We've removed over 1000 dams so far. Most are in such disrepair it's often cheaper to just blow them than fix them. Here's some really cool footage: http://gizmodo.com/5856192/watch-this-dam-explosion-free-the-white-salmon-river?tag=watch-this
  13. You won't be the first, LOL.

Just wait. As you move up the chain, the screwing just gets more creative and complicated.
  15. That's a good point. And it applies to some bass tournaments, too. Some of the opens come with a steep entry fee. Why risk it on "feel"???
  16. Ponder the meat thermometer.....

    Not One Puff Ever.
  19. That is typical finesse tackle. A 2500 series reel on a medium or medium light power rod. Ultra light can mean a few things, though generally its ULTRA light, as in 1-3 lb. line.
  20. Just because you catch with them doesn't mean they are forage. But good luck, and take pics!
  21. Once you use the scale few times, you get a feel for what it should be. I still check mine once in a while, usually after a cleaning or line change.
  22. I only tried a knock off once, and they floated. I never bothered trying any others since the original did what I wanted it to do, namely sink, and why waste my time and money on searching for the perfect replacement.
  23. Sorry guys, unless it's a paying site sponsor (see sidebar on the right) it isn't allowed.
