  1. Can't you just use an email distribution list? I mean all those FB accounts have emails attached to them, and FB doesn't always show everyone what someone else posted.
  2. OK, if you say so I'll defer to you. But, it only took about 1/2" to gobble up one of my trailer tires in one season, so every inch counts if you ask me.
  3. That's not my son, LOL. It's clayton86.
  4. http://www.garmin.com/us/support/contact
  5. Why is 1:8 so strange if Marine Stabil is 1:10?
  6. Not a stretch at all - very cool! Beautiful fish. Sometimes I wonder if NY decided stripers were the answer to alewives instead of browns and Pacific salmonoids. I'd love to whack some, but I have to go to the ocean for them.
  7. In many cases, yes. In others, no. You should start a new thread with a question like that.
  8. No need for duplicate posts. This is closed.
  9. Fishponds makes great stuff: http://www.fishpondusa.com/packs.cfm
  10. Mmm-kay, I'll bite. If there is any camber in the trailer wheels, then altering tongue height undoubtedly alters caster. But I guess you guys are the experts, LOL.
  11. Agreed, the Rapalas don't stay sharp, and that's asking for an accident - coming from a guy that cut the tip of his finger last week, LOL. I have a few, the CRKT is a nice knife. I have a couple a friend gave to me, industrial strength beasts you can get at a restaurant supply store, and and nice adjustable one from Cutco that is actually a great knife, called the Fisherman's Solution.
  12. I guess I don't get it either? What shows are you watching? Is your remote broken? Who are you following on twitter? LOL Seriously though, that is weird. I guess it's another door to someone's 15 minutes of fame.
  13. My bet, depth and wind. That's the 1st thing I do, unless I'm going for a quick reflex bite, which seems unlikely in those conditions.
  14. Sure, quick strike rigs have been around since the late 80's, but deep's rigging is different. Just as Fish Chris's is a little different too: http://www.trophybassonly.com/id224.htm Just because you think you can find a video on YouTube doesn't make you the expert - you gotta go out and try it, and see what variations work for you. I wouldn't discourage anyone from documenting their process with pictures. Besides, Butch shows rigging the 8" bait, which is different in a few ways than the 6" or 68.
  15. That sounds dark and rodent free. Is it dry? By that I mean not humid or damp. If so, it's fine.
  16. That would just be an expansive pike bait. No need for me.
  17. Honestly, I can't remember, something like $5. Call Shimano Service 1-877-577-0600.
  18. Fish are deeper over here at those temps. The only fish I catch in water less than 15' are trout and salmon.
  19. That sounds like a sweet mod.
  20. I've gone back to leaving the original hook in place, too many gut hooked fish when fishing the 6 with your 1st rig.
  21. I disagree. I always scrub by hand before resorting to US bath. Maybe that's the hard way, but it in my eyes, it's the right way. It also lets me inspect each and every part closely.
  22. I replace shims on approximately half the Shimanos I service. The other half I flip them. The next year they usually get replaced. Weird detail, it's the metal shims that seem to wear out worse, if they wear out at all. You'd think it's the opposite. But whatever works for your reels, I deal in quantities that the average angler wouldn't. Everybody's mileage will vary.
