  1. Looks like hype to me. The website navigation feels "homebrewed." I'm sure they're nice rods, but no track record, no real specs, and no stated warranty. Just a yahoo email account and some pictures.
  2. We don't have hydrilla, but we do have water chestnut.....get your heavy gear out and start punching it.
  3. Welcome back!
  4. Keitech Swing Impact Fat.
  5. Nothing. Netbait doesn't even make a toad like the Ragetail bait.
  6. You should see me and my buds when out haveing fun....crossed lines, lures cut off, back boating, etc. It's all in good fun.
  7. A+ Randall. I think I saw video of this, too?
  8. You might have to add pad eyes to connect the seat to the boat, if the ones that are there don't work.
  9. Remove side plate Remove the spool Press the thumbar Replace the spool Replace the side plate Turn crank to reingage the spool
  10. Or dead on tournament day, and hot the next? Pretty common, LOL.
  11. That's what I was wondering. Why create controversy over something as trivial as this? Pass the class, get your credits, and move on. I mean, you are going to confront people of all sorts in your life, that despise other things you love, so unless there's some REAL stand to take, why would they even know about it?
  12. Another article, written by Rich Zaleski, a regular In-Fisherman contributor: http://www.richz.com/fishing/blog/?page_id=552
  13. Looking forward to seeing it!
  14. Thanks Simon, I knew you'd give the straight poop on the boats.
  15. I was 19, and I don't recall signing anything to enter, though maybe. I sure as heck didn't read the rules. I assume the BFL (then Redman) has cleaned up since.
  16. That issues like this will swept under the carpet? The initial headline was, "Fines Levied at Erie Contest." Not, "The winner of the Erie contest was fined, but still gets to fish the classic."
  17. Same fish, being released:
  18. You can bend a staple into a square as a temporary fix, while you wait for the proper part to come from Daiwa.
  19. In everything I've read on them, it's the cheating a polygraph that makes them suspect, not the other way around. The very fact that he said he did it tells me he wanted to cheat. If they didn't want their careers dependent on such a device, then they wouldn't have signed on under the rules. I've been in the boat with a cheater. It ended with me not fishing a tournament for many years. No, I did not report it. I just left and never came back, thinking that "must just be the way it is." Had I been more mature, I would have reported it.
  20. I like arkie style in timber, but I bet a football would work great at deflecting.
  21. Heavy weedguard, heavy guage hook, recessed line tie, like the outkast RT jig.
  22. A world record came from an oxbow lake. I have two small similar type waters locally, and they fish well in spring and fall.
  23. I have no idea. It's in their rules. They should use it. Did you have intentions of cheating? Have you cheated before? Was your offer to purchase a fish from your co angler a joke? have you ever made similar offers in the past?
