Thru Wire
I'm thinking thru wire on a potentially rotted, well used bait will hold better than screw eyes.

I Know I Did The Right Thing As A Co-Angler
If he said something this time, then chances are he's done it in the past. A polygraph would confirm or deny this. Why no polygraph, B.A.S.S.?

Pitching From A Kayak
Simon, can you elaborate? Funny, I see more Coosa's for sale used than any other boat.

Ocean Kayak Pgb For Sale
I'd say it's a buy. Start at $850.

“This Prevents Me From Fishing History”
Nice info. Up here, in fall the weeds die. Where there are decaying weeds, there usually isn't too much O2, so I avoid those areas. But, find healthy weeds, and you might out fish the structure guys. There's a case of geographic patterns being totally different.

Ocean Kayak Pgb For Sale
Oil canning is when the hull gets "wavy" Like a plastic quart of oil with the sides sucked in. A little is OK, but if it looks deformed, run away. The PBG is a beast. It's heavy, and wide, so it isn't the easiest to paddle. It tracks OK. It's as stable as a floating dock. You'll fall off it before it rolls. Practice trying to push it to the edge without any gear in shallow water to gain confidence. It's a great big water boat. There are better long distance boats, and there are more nimble boats, but for getting on all kinds water, standing, carrying capacity, rigging options, and storage, it can't be beat. I love mine. It's like a bass boat without the payment.

“This Prevents Me From Fishing History”
Good question. If it's midsummer in that example, then I'm staying close to the weeds, or slowing down immensely. Those fish didn't move far, if at all.

A Few New Hand Poured Frogs
The middle one looks great. Someone's been reading my posts, LOL. I wish they made hollow body frogs like that.

Ocean Kayak Pgb For Sale
If that is the prerigged package, then it's not a bad deal. They were $1800 new. I have the same boat, similarly outfitted. I'd offer $850 for it. Check the keel for extreme wear, and the hull for oil canning.

Can Keep Flourocarbon From Spinning Off Reel!
Fluoro is more sensitive on a semi slack line than braid, but you shouldn't be too slack with a drop shot.

Battery For Fish Finder
For $30, it's easier to get a little battery from Radioshack. But then it's one more battery to keep charged up. If you are running out of juice on the trolling motor, then it's time for a new battery, preferably two in parallel. Besides, if you are out of juice for the TM, then I'd think getting back to the launch would be more important than what's on the graph.

“This Prevents Me From Fishing History”
That wasn't a cold front. The warm air over the lake won the battle, LOL. Yes, I drew from my experience. That's not what we mean by fishing in the past. Some people fish spots. you hear it at the ramp. "They were in that weedline all last week, today not a bite." Fishing in the past.

Actually, I don't need to imagine. I just look at my inbox on the four forums I post on.

Battery For Fish Finder
Here's your fuse holder: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=726606&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10598&classNum=11287 It goes on the red lead. I think the FF would need a 3 amp fuse, IIRC. You should be able to locate crimp on battery connectors at a marine supply store as well.

That's not chest pounding you hear, Gene. It's my head pounding against the wall trying to tell Catt he is saying the same thing.

Battery For Fish Finder
Too much for your fish finder? A 12v is 12v....just hook it up to the TM battery. Don't forget a fuse.

What Do You Look For In A Flipping Rod?
Absolutely! All the hype over X-fast rods does not apply in the jungle. Sling shot those pigs out of cover. You want the stress spread out over the entire blank, and that blank better be tough.

Can Keep Flourocarbon From Spinning Off Reel!
I wouldn't use 10# on a spinner, unless it was a 5000 series reel. Once you go over 6-8# diameter line, you are in baitcasting territory.

Pitching From A Kayak
LMAO, of course you can stand in a kayak. If you can stand on land, there are boats that accommodate even big boys standing up. Just have to do your research, and pick the right boat. Wander around here: http://www.youtube.com/user/KayakBassFishing#p/u/6/VBWePHoPpoU Chad is not a little man. A shot of me pitching a jig:

“This Prevents Me From Fishing History”
I'll have fished more than 25 lakes this year, some little ones, some huge. Most, I don't get to fish but once or twice a year. If I fish in the past, it might not even be close to relevant to that day on the water. Erie is a good example - I've only fished there half a dozen times in my life. I prefished on Saturday, and found fish in two spots I chose to explore. Keep in mind, those spots are each over a thousand acres. Yeah, you want to talk about structure? This is in the middle of nowhere. If you are lucky, there is a shipping lane buoy,LOL. By Sunday, the exact pattern I used the day before was still producing, but the fish had shrunk. With a cold front moving in, the larger fish were deeper, at the base of the structure, just barely active. Dinks were having a frenzy at the top. The average angler would take what he got at the top, which resulted in about 9 lb. limit in a half hour. While more difficult, the bigger fish action was slower, and presentation had to be perfect and precise to catch the bigger fish in deeper water, which resulted in a dominating tournament win. Had I fished the past, I would have failed. That's what it means not to fish the history. Adapt, or fail. It isn't ANYTHING different from what you are saying. And BTW, while it was tempting, I did not fish the spot I got my avatar last year. It was too far.
