  1. What launch? I'm mostly familiar with the west 1/2 of the lake. I'll be up Sept. 11 for a T. PM me, and maybe we can help each other out.
  2. I really want to take you to Erie before you take off. I'm headed there this weekend. We'll schedule a day there soon. It's very touch and go weather wise, though. You gotta take those good days when you can, and can't schedule out too far.
  3. What you guys all think is some suspicious looking editing is actually called Chromatic Aberration. With the advent of cheap-cheap cameras, with ridiculous 20x zooms, comes sub par glass - err, I mean plastic - lenses. It frequently shows up at high contrast edges. I can try to get a screen cap of it later, or you can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromatic_aberration
  4. Unless you are g.a.y too, I doubt he's interested.
  5. Some will say the video is faked, LOL.
  6. Lots of MAD JEALOSY posted here, LMAO. Here's your proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1yU0WKkpEw
  7. Gimme a break guys. It's legit. I reported this yesterday.
  8. LOL, happens all the time.
  9. I don't think I've ever rolled a hook point on an Owner. Rusty hooks? I'd look at that as a storage issue.
  10. My 1st reaction is flathead, but that deeply lobed caudal fin has me second guessing. Might be it's just torn up, though.
  11. You might have one our talented artists here paint one for you. I'm told it's an unusual pattern.
  12. This is the color he's looking for....
  13. Call them and ask: 1-877-577-0600
  14. I didn't take this picture, but it was posted on NYBASS today. Caught on the Upper Niagara while on charter with Paul Castanelo. 8 lbs. even.
  15. Really. Ideally, you are giving them a moment to turn away from you, and get better penetration with a wide gap hook on the toad style plastic. It's got nothing to do with letting them eat it, just a different hook. It isn't necessary to wait with a hollow body. If you "pull" the bait free, you either had a small fish on, or the bite was apprehensive, and try changing colors, size, or frog.
  16. Wasn't me, LOL. I hit the West Side.
  17. Good choice! The cylinder deactivation programming (PHASE) and injectors is made here in Rochester, at Delphi. It's pretty cool to be cruising down the highway towing a boat, running on four cylinders, LOL.
  18. LOL, they are the originals! An entire generation of smallmouth fisherman grew up catching smallies with these. Later, it was the Kalins grubs, after that, the Gitzit tubes.
  19. They rang up at the register initially for $149.97. The cashier did a manual override.

Some pics showing the devastation. Not for the faint of heart.
  21. Yep, a standard ball head. use more weight for a faster retrieve, or to run deeper. Cast out, count down, and slowly reel in.
  22. Oh yeah. I have to renew my laundry disability every six months or so, by shrinking a Banana Republic shirt. Costs me, but it's worth it.
