  1. I take pictures for fun. I have no need to defend my decisions. If your job depends on it, then maybe it's useful to find out what the rest think of your work.. Sorry Chris for running off the tracks..... Did you see the tilt-shift effect I linked?
  2. I'm buying stock in the Wizzinator.
  3. x2 and get a decent scale. I think you'll be surprised when you weigh your fish.
  4. Who is paying for this, and how much is this program supposed to save? All I see are costs. I'm also not seeing where there is a government contract with Solantic. Seems like the applicant would be the one to get the test on their own. Why wouldn't they use Solantic, if it's the most convenient?
  5. Better? It totally gums up baitcasters. It'll even tangle up a spinning reel to the point that you break off on a cast due the shock of a glob getting hung up.
  6. You shouldn't have to ever explain your meaning behind your work. Have confidence that it stands as yours, and leave its meaning up to the viewer. The view is probably too dumb to even know what you had in mind anyway, LOL. I hear you about supersaturation, and I even go against my own preachings, like here and here. Even Chris's High Pass filter effect that I don't care for has been used for some of my pictures, like here. Why I did it, or what it means is up to you.
  7. Just remember, you're always wrong. It's just the way it is. "OK, Honey" should be your mantra, LOL.
  8. Nice video, welcome to the swimbait club. Musky baits are fine for bass, so long as you change out the hooks to something more appropriate than the 12/0 trebles that usually come on them.
  9. I just pop them with a light power snap set. I can't always reel set, and it doesn't seem to matter. If you use the right size hook, it shouldn't be a problem. I use a 1/0 Gamakatsu Wide Gap Finesse Hook for wacky rigging senkos on a drop shot. Read this.
  10. It doesn't feature any of the skills you bragged about. Editing a photo shouldn't look like it was edited. What you posted looks terrible to me. It clearly looks like the five minutes of work you claim it to be. But, what looks terrible to me, may be beautiful to someone else. For instance Chris's original edit - not my cup of tea. Get the point? This is a bass fishing forum, I'm not going to go into some discussion about art, and process either.. ****************************** Chris, you have any bad weather shots of that scene? Or one with a close up detail of the boats? That would be a cool idea for this faux-tiltshift technique: http://www.tiltshift...op-tutorial.php
  11. If you're getting too many panfish bites, shorten your drop line and increase the weight a bit.
  12. Dylan, check these videos by my friend Burnie. Tested and approved on over 100 Port Bay Bass last spring, LOL.
  13. Hmmm, next time don't be a butt hole, LOL. You get my PM?
  14. Who said they hated it?
  15. No, see below: TANF is a federal program started by Clinton in 1996. http://articles.cnn....?_s=PM:POLITICS Decide for yourself what is really going on here.....
  16. It's probably sunnies or blue gill nipping your bait.
  17. Pics or it didn't happen.
  18. Sorry bro, you have never fished here, and experienced this. It's that bad.
  19. Marty is another "northerner" that speaks the truth. His last two sentences should tattooed on many a forearm.
  20. I hated the old search. The new one works like Google.
  21. Berkley 4" Tournament Strength Pulse Worms are discontinued. That looks like a bulk Berkley bag with a store label on it.
  22. If you are just worried about line visibility, then use whatever clear line you want, that's acceptably strong. If you just want to sink the braid, then use reel fill fluoro. If you are worried about serious abrasion issues, then you want to use actual fluoro leader material.
  23. Grass jigs and punch rigs on heavy tackle and braid.
