BPT / MLF Format Rules Needs To Change !!
5 fish limits stem from regulations. Most places, an angler can only keep 5 per day.

BPT / MLF Format Rules Needs To Change !!
I was thinking of a cut, like who's first to a certain weight. Similar to what you're saying, but more like auto racing, weight instead of laps. Maybe that would reward luck?

That's an interesting idea. Can you elaborate on it? What about northern lakes, like say Erie, where a 100 fish day is within the realm of possibility.

Jerkbait Help/ Advice
This has been my experience on several local lakes that have large populations of Esox. Nothing worse than seeing a huge musky swipe at your $17 Pointer! Slowing down, going subtle is a key.

Water separator is usually an aftermarket option. I had one on my Xpress. I changed the filter every year. I think it was around $40-.

This was always my move for tournaments as well. Usually the electric sites were only $20-25/night. I'd also get an "Empire Pass" which gave me free ramp and discounted campsite access for any NYS park for around $100. Paid for itself by July.

CHEAP BASS LURES THAT WORK
I've said this before, I have a $25 Popmax that has caught more fish than ANY OTHER BAITS, COMBINED. That one topwater owes me nothing. Buy good, proven baits. Plastics can get pricey, quick. It's why I used mostly hard baits when I was young. One $5 crank could catch me 100 fish. A $5 bag of plastics might catch 5-10 fish and last me a couple hours.

DAIWA BG 4000 is not supposed to do this
DVT doesn't care about all that. He can probably fix it for much less than a new reel. http://www.delawarevalleytackle.com/

KVD moving to Lew's
Can't imagine this happening. That would mean Zebco, Quantum, VanStall, Fin-nor, and Badlands hunting closing shop. All seem pretty healthy to me.

Probably not worth it keeping it, even for a lawnmower. or snowblower I bet a service station could dispose of it for you. I mean, it's not that much right, maybe $40 worth?

Condensed view not working?
- 40-Pound Black Bass
It doesn't work that way. Lemurs and humans diverge at the suborder level. We are not 3rd cousins. Using genetic terms in this way is psuedo science, and also sensationalism. At the point where lemurs and humans share a common ancestor is not "three steps" away. Third cousins share a great great grandparent. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primate- 40-Pound Black Bass
So, they're both bony, ray finned perch, which describes 41% of all fishes, lol. ORDER is a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG way up the taxonomic classification tree. Cousins are generally referred to two species of the same family. Saying the two are cousins is like saying that butterfly fishes, barracuda, and the lowly common carp are cousins our black basses. It's also like saying we're cousins to lemurs.- 40-Pound Black Bass
I wouldn't call them cousins at all. They are not even closely related to Centrarchids (sunfish). There are big fish that bite lures and tug lines in every corner of the globe. You could spend a lifetime searching the internet finding interesting catches. That Wade refers to them as "40 lb. black bass" is sensationalism in an American market.- Condensed view not working?
In hind sight, we should have seen this coming....- Kistler Helium big price boost 2020
I drank the kistler koolaide a decade ago and bought a pile of rods. All of them eventually broke. I don't feel it was totally my fault either, since all my Saint Croix are still intact. A couple are nearly 20 years old.- Will my jerk bait combo also handle these types of baits?
Those are the same specs I prefer for a spinnerbait rod, so in short, yes it will work for bigger hooks. It's wrestling them from cover where you might have trouble.- How are you hooking up your trolling motor.. because I'm CONFUSED
You can get the plug and receptacle for less than $40 at most places that sell TMs and TM accessories.- What’s your favourite jighead for swimbaits
COunt me in for J-Will heads as well. - 40-Pound Black Bass
