Please eat BASS!
Go back and read what you both typed, with an open mind. You'll see you were a bit dismissive. That's all Catt is getting at. Not everything on the internet is keyboard muscles. The Share-A-Lunker program is pretty unique. I'm not sure it's the 100% right way, but they are at least trying something. Up here, bass are second class citizens when it comes to environmental programs.

Knot for fluorocarbon
I've found most any useful fishing knot works, IF IT IS WELL TIED. I like Palomar, Uni, and Alberto.

Can anyone recommend a decent 3-bank on-board charger?
I have a Dual Pro on my Bullet. Works for me.

How To Make A Squeaky Buzzbait...?????
Brutal, lol.

Good frogs
I like the Pad Crashers, they're more reasonably priced than Spro. The improved Basyriski is fun, though a little different. The Kopper's frogs are great, but expensive and not as durable. I wish they'd come out with the same frog, but less detail (I don't feel that much realism is necessary) for a lower price. Please put a pink dot on the back, like I sometimes do to better see when the bait gets eaten. Really big fish simply slurp the thing, instead of blasting it.

How to determine if you had a strike and missed it
It's like the old, "smell this marker" trick!

Please eat BASS!
What part of, "I don't like everything that you think tastes good," are you gyuys not getting? LOL.

How to determine if you had a strike and missed it
All I smell is JJ's or Megastrike when I sniff my baits.

Sit on top or sit in kayak
I run both a sit on top, and a hybrid. I actually prefer the hybrid, a Wilderness Systems Commander 140. I can't say that either is dry - you pretty much get wet when you're that close to the water.

Kayak Bass Fishing Cheater Busted
I'd say ignore the guy, don't give him any press, and let the law and/or tournament directors deal with his punishment. All people on social media "****-shaming" him are giving kayak tournaments a bad name.

Please eat BASS!
I believe I qualified my statements with the phrase "smaller, closed systems," but, yeah, I think you're right for some of the posts. Harvesting a limit of smallmouth on one of the Great Lakes probably neither benefits nor harms the fishery. On the flip side, hit the northern pike spawning grounds on the same waters, just post spawn, and remove a few large (over 10#) specimens, and 30 little hammer handles will take their place. In that fishery, the big ones cannibalize the small ones, and keep them in check. Doesn't work that way with bass.

Please eat BASS!
For anyone else that cares to learn more, we have an entire subset in our library of articles on the subject. This is the official I have stuff that supports my statement post. http://www.bassresource.com/lake-management/ Pondboss magazine is another good resource, by Bob Lusk. http://www.pondboss.com/ I'll add my college background in fisheries management, and ten years as an aquatic livestock manager to my bona fides.

Fluorocarbon leader line specifically for leaders vs. standard fluorocarbon line
You following me around the lake? No pictures, please! LOLOLOL.

Please eat BASS!
You might want to do a little research, on your own. We have several articles and videos by Bob Lusk. Try the googles, too. I'm not sure very many are working with fish of that caliber. Not Florida strain LMB, anyway. If you want to talk about what the NYDEC does, you're on the wrong forum. Try salmon crazy.

I'm amazed at people that never break off.

Please eat BASS!
The guys at the TPWD are on to something. They only work with largemouth - BIG LARGEMOUTH.

Please eat BASS!
http://tpwd.texas.gov/spdest/visitorcenters/tffc/sharelunker/ These are the same idiots that say there no smallmouth in Lake Ontario, lol.

P-Line and Seaguar are readily available around here. Places like DSG, Field & Stream, Gander, and local shops.

Fluorocarbon leader line specifically for leaders vs. standard fluorocarbon line
Spinfishers and fly guys that fish for trout in streams and rivers have been using fluoro leaders for years. That's where I first picked it up.

Please eat BASS!
This is actually a prime example where a feed and harvest plan would grow some pretty big fish.
-
Please eat BASS!
Actually, it's science, not silly. Especially in smaller, closed systems.

Kayak trailer...
Sweet trailer!

Please eat BASS!
Except they taste like crap compared to walleye, jack perch, and salmon.

Fluorocarbon leader line specifically for leaders vs. standard fluorocarbon line
Especially if you have actually tried fluoro leader. The stuff is amazing - like clear steel. I've even switch to heavy fluoro and crimps for northern pike.
