  1. Need to be more specific. What baits? Top Hook, treble, hard, soft?
  2. Better build an ark.
  3. Kelce worked out OK for me. Jones outscored his projection. Good game, lol.
  4. I run Kelce as a flex TE 2 in fantasy team. He should be putting up numbers, but doesn't get the opportunity. I thought he'd be my #1 TE, but Olsen is out producing.
  5. I always considered the visual aspect of a flat sided crank being more of a "flash" of color, than I did tight action. I've tried out the Sebile Squarebill Sunfish, and had good success, though I'm not sure it can keep up with a speed trap. I usually onluy burn lipless baits.....might have to rethink that.
  6. As a retailer, if a good customer came to me, and divulged all the info, and I carried the line, I might do the exchange. It would depend on the distributor's return policy. I'm not sure you'll get that from Bass Pro, but there's nothing dishonest about full disclosure. The worst they can do is say no.
  7. Now does the post above about Abu or Shakespeare make more sense?
  8. I trust products, not brand names.
  9. Uh, no. Pure Fishing owns them. http://purefishing.com/our-brands/
  10. I like baits with a bullet head.
  11. Because the gear is considered entry level and not the same caliber as what a pro bass angler would use. That's what Abu is for. Is there a baitcaster in the Shakespeare line equivalent to a Revo Premier? When you turn pro, and someone asks you, "We'll pay you to fish a $30 reel and an Ugly Stik, or you can use an MGX and a Villian, so long as you promote them as the best." What are you going to choose? If they ever decide to offer top level gear under the Shakespeare name (this is highly doubtful) then I'm sure they'll hire some big name pros to pimp the products.
  12. Not that I know of. Most of the Pure Fishing guys would be using Flooger or Abu.
  13. Should be getting a 7-11 cranker from Pinnacle shortly, though I'm not sure that will throw warts. I'll put them on the list to try, though.
  14. They are on the right side of the fuse block.
  15. Not for dragging on the bottom. A jika rig is for penetrating weeds.
  16. Oh heck, Scrooge is in. PM incoming shortly!
  17. Any medium/moderate rod over 7', made of graphite, with a full rear grip will do for me. I use a SC Avid AVC70MM.
  18. I'm not a big swing jig user. My buddy used to make his own, but they had a collar that held a skirt. He's passed on, so I'm not sure where the he got the heads or how they were molded. They had a pyramid, "wedge shape" head. I'll be honest, there's a ton of good ones out there in heavy, football head configurations. Maybe a lighter, light wire hook, as a shaky head change up is a good idea. I'd try that. Something in the 1/16 to 1/4 range. No one would buy it though, lol.
  19. I thought just the KLX and Z-bone lines were NFC? Didn't Kistler move blank making in house for other lines a few years ago?
  20. It does look expensive on the surface, but it sure looks like a time saver. It would look really clean for resale....might look into it for my Xpress.
  21. Sounds more typical than backwards. Maybe you're fishing with backwards guys? That's just it, I rarely rig a senko like a worm, and I rarely rig a worm like a senko. Not to say it doesn't work.
  22. Six or seven.
  23. Am I the only one that doesn't include senkos in any worm discussion? I think there might be an entire generation if anglers that think of a senko when they think worms.
