Centerpinning!
Actually, when they are on the move, in the riffles, or actively hitting bugs on the top, the fly rod wins. In all other circumstances, the pin is a more efficient tool for putting meat and potatoes on the table. Plus, you don't have to brag how your fly was right in the fish's mouth to prove that you aren't a snagger, lol. Pretty tough to floss one on a float rig.

Snow Alert!
Call me pessimistic, but when the zombie apocalypse does happen, I'm thinking being nice goes out the window. That's just me. I'll be in a tree, waiting for ww2farmer to walk out of his neighbor's place with the food and water.

Lew's Tournament Pro Or Shimano Curado I ... Vote!
Left out about a dozen other choices that are as good, if not better than these two. At that price point, "better" is pretty marginal, though. They're good above around $150.

Best Flouro For Under $15?
Right. I tell all the guys in my club to use Vanish for their leaders.....

Is Yum A Going Out Of Buisness Or What?
I bought an awful lot of YUM plastics last year, and I really did well with them. If there are clearance deals - grab them. The baits work.

My Rod Is Better Than Yours
Not sure I'd use the term, "simpletons".......

Is Yum A Going Out Of Buisness Or What?
OK, why would they get rid of their only full line plastics company? Yeah, they have BooYah, but that isn't nearly the line as YUM. It's winter, many companies sell down before the new year, and also to avoid excess inventory.

Tried Out My New Kistler Rods Today... Love 'em! :-)
Good luck. All five of my Kistlers eventually broke while fishing. Never made any warranty claim.

Its Not Always The Primer Bulb
Oy. Guess I better start keeping a small length of line and extra hose clamps in my boat now. Good post!

Small Crankbait Rod
Nothing better that I've used than my Avid AVC70MM for baits under a 1/2 oz.

Jerkbait Help/ Advice
I use a 6'2" M/XF Avid and a Daiwa Alphas spooled w/ 10# CXX for jerkbaits. I generally throw larger (>100 size) jerkbaits, though, so spinning gear isn't necessary.

How Light Of Line Will You Use In And Around Heavy Cover?
15/20# braid, 8# fluoro leader. Here's an article that details one technique for presenting baits with light gear. Not your typical DS in 30+ FOW: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot-bedding-bass.html

Is Yum A Going Out Of Buisness Or What?
YUM is Pradco, which includes Summit, Moultrie, K&H, Code Blue, Rebel, Bomber, Boo-Yah, Lindy, Cotton Cordell, Heddon, Arbogast, Silverthread, Xcalibur, and YUM. They aren't going out of business.

My Rod Is Better Than Yours
What about the one that has the boat, the gear, and out fishes you? You're right, it's not the gear, but that certainly isn't going to hold anyone back either.

One Album For The Rest Of Your Life?
Most of the "Deluxe" versions on iTunes have extra tracks. 2112 has some unreleased live tracks added.

Swimbait Knot
I use a Palomar to #3 or #4 snap. Direct, either a Uni or Improved Clinch. No issues with 20/25# CXX.

Jerkbait Help/ Advice
Clown? It's my best color in less than clear water.
