Bass Club For Dummy
1. Not usually. 2. Depends, though most clubs are for learning. 3. Team, where each boat turns in the best creel. 4. Life Jacket, snacks, cold/wet weather gear. 5. That depends on the membership. Go to a meeting, ask the members. You'll find out quickly whether it's for you or not.

The Flu
That is the worst! I'm a big baby when I'm sick, and it stinks when you infect the ones that take care of everything (by that I mean wife/gf, lol). It's tough when the kids get sick, too. Mostly because they usually don't start until your feeling better.

The Flu
Many get the shot way too late. It takes 4-8 weeks after the shot for your body to build up antibodies. That means you need to get it early, like September, to be covered for the holidays. I know plenty that wait until December to get it - too late, according to my docs.

The Flu
I haven't had the flu in over a decade - since I started getting a flu shot. Since you already got the flu once, you can't get it again. But you can get any other number of nasty colds that are out there. Your best defense is to wash your hands frequently, and don't touch your face.

Is There Much Difference In "standard" Mono From One Company To Another.
And to the point, Trilene XT in 10# is actually larger than P-Line CXX, and has a lower break strength, and I think the two products are better aligned for comparison's sake in purpose and application. CXX is a copolymer, whereas Trilene is nylon, and they handle a little differently. I really think you need to choose line based on handling characteristics, abrasion resistance, break strength (not test strength), and diameter. You can get diameter, and sometimes true break strength from the specs, but the others are subjective, and line choice is so personal in the way those attributes affect fishing, that it's often tough to compare lines. Siege is a good choice - it's a high quality line when you want to use a nylon mono.

Is There Much Difference In "standard" Mono From One Company To Another.
Yes, and no. The differences are sometimes subtle. As a general rule, "limp and low memory" means spinning, and "tough and abrasion resistant" means casting gear. That's not set in stone. Suffix is my favorite mono, and replaced the Trilene I'd used for years.

Shimano Chronarch 200E6
You can pretty much match it up with any 7-ish foot MH/F spec rod of your choice. At that price point, all the rods are VERY nice, light, and use good components.

Kvd Red Eye Shad Vs. Spro Aruku
You're right about grass and Arukus.... I like the Xcaliber baits and LC Weedcutter for grass.

Rod Reel Combo For 6 Year Old
My son did fine with a 6' pistol grip Bionic Blade and spincast reel. He used a vintage Zebco 33, but I'd recommend a Daiwa Goldcast these days.

Where To Get Tubes??
No it isn't, but it helps make the winter pass. It's actually been pretty warm here after the deep freeze a week ago. Might be checking my ditches for trout this weekend.

Where To Get Tubes??
Let me know if you need help getting this stuff, drum master. For some of you that don't know, I've had the pleasure of fishing with Tim a few times. He's no joke, and if says he needs tubes - he really needs them, lol.

Sc Lakes?
I've only fished Santee-Cooper chain and Murray. To me, there's a lifetime of learning locked in those waters.
