  10. Im currently looking for a good crankbait setup(rod/reel) i already own a Loomis GL3 and a Daiwa fuego that i use for worms and jigs..Just want some opinions on what to get. Im looking at the loomis crankbait series rods right now and the daiwa zillion, but from what i've read the zillion is to fast for cranking..just need some help thanks guys
  11. I resent that. Making a broad general assumption as that is childish and inmature. I see that you are 24, that probably explains it. For the record I have been fishing tournaments since before you were even born. When you have the experience to travel across state lines to fish lakes you have never seen and have to contact friends to tow your winnings home you might qualify to make a statement like that. Otherwise your time might be better spent standing in a bass boat and trying to figure out a viable pattern. get over yourself dude it was a joke :
  12. you guys just dont have the skills to make vanish work ;Dlol i've never had a problem with it
  13. i have the berkley vanish flurocarbon spooled on my Daiwa Fuego and i absoluetly love it....completely invisible in the water and the lines not as stiff as most fluros
  14. i have a fuego and love it...havent used any of the others so fuegos my choice
  15. I have a GL3 so i got the sensitivity its just that where the hook landed was a bad spot and she bled like crazy..i hooked her in what i would guess would be her tongue..fish do have tongues right?? ;D
  16. Im just curious to see how oftne you guys accidently kill a bass...I've only been reel big into bass fishing for the past two seasons.....yesterday me and two of my buddies went out and we had a great day of fishing except for i accidently killed a 3.5 pounder...i hhoked her in the tongue and she was bleeding like crazy..got her back in the water asap but she was floating about 10 mins later..Totally ruined my day..i also had one inhale the hook and had to leave it down there or she definitley would had died..That one was sorta my fault cause i was fishing in some timber thought i got snagged but i didnt and waited to long to set the hook but hopefully she survives..Just curious on how often everyone kills one by accident
  17. i have a left hand retrieve Fuego teamed up with a G-Loomis GL3 thing is absolutely great....if you have the settings set right you can cast without putting your thumb on the spool...even when it hits the water...super smooth...i absolutley love it
  18. i paid somwhere around 220 for my Loomis GL3 7' MH fast action rod...very light and sensitive...you can actually feel the fish fart ;D
  19. why thankgoodness it isnt??? dont like the rod?
  20. i have it strung up on my baitcaster...havent had any luck...did hook one fish but he jumped and thru the hook...it looks like to me the fish would beable to see it in the water but its spose to be translucent...only bought it cause it had a sticker that said voted best line..that kinda stuff always gets me
  21. just bought one of these bad boys and im wondering what setup is this rod best used for i got the 7' MH rod fast action
  22. nevermind the cableas dude told me they're the same thing
  23. Im right handed and use a left handed retrieve...i feel i have more control of the pole thats why i like the left hand retrieve...plus thats how i've fished my whole life...Its just what you prefer
  24. dont know much about rods hence all the threads but is there a difference between casting rod and trigger rod...im thinking they are the same thing am i right?
  25. In another thread i started i stated i purchased a Team daiwa Sol reel well i called BPS and switched my order to the Fuego(because of line capacity) and teamed it up with a G-Loomis GL2 7' MH...just wanted to know your guys thoughts on my first baitcast combo...should i have stayed with the SOL? Just want some opinions thanks and is this a good combo for a beginner?
