I am about to buy a new truck. I have a 40 minute commute to and from work 5 days a week. I tow my 14' bass boat only about 30 or so times a year. I have to think about fuel mileage on an everyday basis. I am looking at Ford Rangers. Does anyone have any experience towing a small boat with a 4 cyl?

The Reel Mechanic has a tutorial of reel set up. If you have done all of this correctly, make sure that you are pulling ALL of the backlash coils out before reeling up your line. I don't think it is the SPOOLKING If you cannot pull them at first, dig your thumb into the spool and reel 5 or 6 times, then pull out. You may need to do it a few times.
