I came across one in a pre-spring sale at a local tackle shop that is still in the box. How much are these worth? I know there are Lew's enthusiast out there that will have some in put.

I came across a new / old Legend spinning rod. $80. 6'6" M/F but, 2pc. This rod feels great. Skeptical on the 2 pc. I heard that St. Croix used to have issues with the ferrells. I am also concerned about the warranty on an out of production rod. I will call St. Croix Monday but, thought I'd run it by a few of you guys first.

I am looking for the trim that goes around the console or any fiberglass edges. West Marine sells it but, I need about 8'. Comes 25" for $50 plus shipping. Any ideas?

In high school we had a 300lb. club. Only 4 out of about 1400 students belonged. I was 5'11" and 190lbs. Most I ever got was 340. Could rep 300 about 4 times. Now, 26 years later, I am about 240lbs., built like a weight lifter but, my joints and other body parts are killing me. Work out only for maintenance of health and shape. Whenever I travel for work, I go to the little work out room. I can bench whatever the entire stack is just to see if I can do it. Whatever you do while lifting, do it properly. It'll pay off in the end.

I don't care if the tobacco companies run adds that say smoking gives you perfect health and breath that smells like flowers, YOU know that smoking is bad for your health. I'm sure this guy's doctor, wife, kids, friends, and so on, told him it was killing him. When my grandfather died in 1997 after smoking for 60 years he told my mother, "I should have quit in 1975 when I quit drinking." She replied, "yes but, you loved those cigarettes." His reply, "I sure did." No one thought to sue anyone. He loved them, he smoked them, they killed him. We all knew it.

I like having inusrance its a nessisity but if it was lapsed only a month and i didnt get caught how can they say i broke a law .its a case of guilty without a trial if i was caught without it same thing would happen then as it is now BTW i pay 236 a month and i havent had a accident or any driving penalties 1 speeding ticket in 4 yrs. Thats why state farm dropped me for a speedin ticket after 8 yrs of perfection never even sent me a cancle notice i went there to pay said it was cancelled said i need to get MAIF then needed 700 bucks down to start that in NOV The law is that insurance be current. You were guilty whether you were "caught" or not. In cases like this, you always get caught. The insurance companies report to the MVA whenever insurance lapses.

They have a model made in China called a SPORT. I have been using their standard graphite and HG40 rods for years. I love them. All others are made in Texas. There are a few pros along with Scroggins that use them.

I will be giving swimbaits a wherl this year. I will be fishing in a tidal river. Depths anywhere from 2-4' and 4-6'. I will be using the hollow belly type. Is the weight of the hook dependent water depth? What is the rule of thumb for what weight to use?
