  1. With that motor you should be able to go out of the Mattawoman south and go to the northern mouth of the Chicamuxen then go back into the Mattawoman, depending on the tide. Out of Ft. Washington you could stay in Piscataway creek from the southern mouth into the creek can be great in April.
  2. Is Kurt Warner the only quarterback to take (not just be on the team but TAKE) two different teams to the Super Bowl? We've been thinking since yesterday and can't come up with any.
  3. Cardinals continue to surprise.
  4. Have been a Kurt Warner fan since St. Louis. Cards have my support.
  5. Is there a rule of thumb to determine the right shaft length for a boat? I have a small fiberglass bass boat.
  6. Do you happen to have a picture of how the big foot switches are hooked up? I am considering a tiller operated bow mount due to space considerations. I am concerned about it being a pain to try to operate while fishing.
  7. Back in the 90's, I used to see pros with hand operated, bow mount trolling motors. Are any of you using them? I have a small fiberglass bass boat and the foot pedal takes up valuable space. Don't know if it would be inconvenient though, having to reach down and steer. What are your opinions?
  8. Same here.
  9. Are we measuring the actual yardage or just guessing? 2/3 to 3/4 of an entire football field is longer that you think.
  10. I left the show at 4:00, and went straight to there. Stayed until 6:30. We were at both places at the same time and didn't even know it.
  11. This was my 23rd year attending. It was awful. One tackle shop. Only two of the three halls used. One named pro, all other presenters were local guides. I was at the seminar when you got the swim bait. Bought a few Big Mouth spinnerbaits and some Mizmo tubes. I've been fishing both for years. Good baits. Went to Bass Pro in Hanover on the way home. Best part was spending the day with my dad. Back in the day, you couldn't walk around without squeezing through the crowds for the first 3 hours. Line to get in would be over 100 yards long. I got there at 9:00, bought my ticket and walked in. Hope to get to a few of the smaller flea market type shows but, two have been canceled already due to poor vendor sign up. The show in Upper Marlboro and one in Dales City, VA. Hope to get to Sykesville and Pasadena. Pasadena is a two day show.
  12. YES, but with the same clarification.
  13. I will be there all day Saturday. Most likely found hanging out at the Indian Head Charters booth. 6' 250# bald guy. Ask the guy at the booth if I'm around.
  14. Castaway standard graphite spinning rod, the first year Castaways came out. I'm guessing close to 19 years or so.

Is the color of the prop really critical? With all of the splash and turbulence, can it really be seen that well to make a difference? It's not meant (as far as I now) to have the same purpose as a spinnerbait blade, thump and flash but, to make a commotion on the surface. Opinions?
  16. G. Gordon Liddy said that he would never understand why someone would sign up to spend everyday in prison.
  17. Or under the avatar, the user names formally known as.
  18. I like how you think...My thoughts exactly. I too was looking at it thinking, "hmm?"
  19. From a bass boat on the lower Potomac River. I have been attending the Bass Expo since it was the "3rd annual". Back then there were a good deal of "big name" pros. Now as you will see, maybe one or two. Mainly just local guides. (whom you can still learn a lot from) Still not a terrible place to spend the day in January.
  20. Perfect analogy. Blue riffs yes, blues soul, I can't hear it. I agree with the whole englishman thing. They are great players and LOVE American blues. They just don't quite get the feel down. When I listen to the old blues guys, it's just different. Having said that, SRV is in a class all by himself. Technically great and soul / feeling coming out of every pore. Please stay for he entire perfomance.

Spell Checker... ...Some just said a prayer of thanks.
  23. Zeppelin is pre-Sabbath.
  24. My work partner here in the office is a huge fan. Would "perform" for Plant or Page if the opportunity presented itself. LOL Not really (I hope) but it seems like it sometimes.
