  1. Welcome
  2. I throw 4" dingers in greenpumpkin/chart anywere around tulles or holes in the weeds.
  3. The thread had nothing to do with Catch & Release or keeping your catch. The simple fact is that a lot of us don't like seeing pictures of dead bass.
  4. I hope you continue to get good news. Thoughts and prayers to your family.
  5. Kinda puts things in perspective. ;D
  6. I don't think that Martens is that happy with Velvick right now either. He seemed a bit flustered at the end.
  7. That's just sad. The guy shouldn't have even signed up for the tourney. As a boater he had a resonsibility to the team. Even if he didn't want to continue he should have stepped aside and let you have the front of the boat.
  8. Great Bass!
  9. Great fish!
  10. Congratulations to Paul Elias! What a great tournament and awesome weight. Sending email to California Department of Fish and Game. Please stop trout stocking imediately and switch to Talapia. Also please procede with cloning "share a lunker" program we are falling behind. ;D ;D ;D
  11. Amazing weights. I think it's Marten's to loose.

  13. Very nice fish!
  14. Fish Cris you are an amazing angler. Great fish and photos!
  15. Here is the link were we have been discussing the tournament so far http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1207004415 You are right though the weights are impressive and the record could be in trouble.
  16. Pretty amazing! I htink it's cool that they are still discovering things like this.
  17. I tell you I feel truly blessed to be within a couple hours of what I think is the best all around largemouth fishing in the world. However I have to say that getting back to Erie or TN like RW says and getting into some big smallmouth sounds good.
  18. The only problem with the Trout stocking thing is that neither Clearlake or the Delta, arguably 2 of the top 10 fisheries in the world are not stocked with trout. Not sure about Clearlake but I do believe the Delta record is over 18lbs.
  19. Micro I think you and I agree on more than what you give us credit for. I had a little time to think on this on the way home so let me give this another try. Fisrt off my comment on behaviorly challenged children in my early post was not meant for children with legitimate medical reasons. Our differences on the teaching of morals I believe is in the wording. I believe that it is our jobs as parents to teach morals to our children. I believe that the school has a responsibility to reinforce our teachings only as far as basic "common courtesy". I want my son to be expected to say please and thank you. I also want him to be expected to show others common courtesy. We also agree that Zero-Tolerance Policies are wrong and each situation needs to be judged on its own merrits and dicipline should be handed out evenly. The difference between fair and equitable will be debated long after you and I are gone I am afraid. Just let me say that the examples you have given disturb me and do not in anyway support them. Like I said before the system is broken on so many levels. I would really like to discuss this in further detail but to do so and not get political is not possible. I at no time felt that you were mad at me and I hope you understand that I was not angy either. I believe we are just coming at this from different angles. key chain bass guy, This problem is bigger than the policies of our Federal Government. Everyone from the top on down needs to bear some responsibility. State, local leaders as well as the teachers and their unions. Parents also need to get involved. What Micro is talking about as far as his son is concerned is to me not only a breakdown in the system but negligence.
