I cant say they are the exact same but Kinami Baits is owned by Dirk Yamamoto there are only 7 flashes per package where senkos come in counts of 10 there is where the price difference is. I use both and dont see a difference in either. JT Bagwell should be able to answer this.

All salt impregnated stick worms are not the same. The more salt the faster they sink. I have had people argue with me about the differences and i usually win when i pull out a Yamamoto senko or a Kinami Flash and compare it to the softness and the weight of there brand of choice.
  5. Black buzzbait you can fish it any time any place any where and it will catch fish plus you just chuck and wind not hard to work
  6. I would say if you live way north the reason you dont catch fish on them is because they are not native but i dont really think that is the reason. It is lack of confidence. Texas rigg them or carolina rigg them they are fish catching machines. I use 6'Black power lizzards, 6' zoom lizzards in junebug, redburg, chartruce pepper and If i can find them 6' watermelon chartruce flw lizzards. in 4' i use a black with yellow spotted mister twister lizzard I basically stick with those colors all year mainly fish them in the spring but they will catch fish all season.

I am all about the fto tackle organizers. to stop the rusting problem buy some Inhibitor rust chipps and place them in the bottom of each tray they will stop the rusting.
  8. I have fished strip mine lakes in Illinois alot. I to catch alot of smaller fish but have seen and caught many of big ones. What i do is fish the edge. back way out off the edge and drop a jig/tube/worm right down the ledge. i will also paralell the ledge with a crank bait. One of the public strip pitts in the area I was told to fish it in march-april the bass drill spinner baits. In the summer invest in scummfroggs and fish the matts.
  9. The best way for me to cure a slump, is to go fishing. Technique/equiptment usually arent the cause for a slump unless you changed something. I just fish myway threw it. I have years where my tournament performances flat out stink. But in my prefishing and fun fishing im a world beater. Just the nature of the game. As my buddy JT puts it, "Don't hate the player hate the game"

  11. JT or Glenn How come Bagwell's Bass Tactics looks different on this site compared to the one I got emailed to me. For example the one I had emailed to me has an incentive from yamamoto baits on the bottomn. Another example is having a hyper link to jt's email adress? Just a couple observations Dusty Taylor
  12. I notice no one speaks of Keith Warren. His show is plain poor. Plus he has a habbit of keeping bass. Dont he realize that there are enough meat eaters fishing allready. He always makes sure to give a close up of the bass going into the livewell. Kinda rubbing it in. I miss the Lary Nixon shows they were the best I watched.
  13. I cant say whos making basspros reels but i do know Brunswick owns Lews and Quantum both and if I remember right Lews and Browning used to be in kahoots some how. So maybe it is Quantum making the BPS stuff.
  14. Mike we used to use a product called a Pork Saver or Pig Saver. It is a soft case, that Velcros over your bait and rod with a sponge padding inside. Just Put your pig saver in the water get it good and wet. Then take and hook your jig to your rod. Now wrap the Pig Saver around the rod and jig. This product should keep your pork wet the rest of the day. When you are done fishing remove the pork and throw it back in the jar.
  15. Super Pork is the only way to fly www.superpork.com
  16. fatdaddy Id be more apt to believe that the company that owns Browning, would be making the reels for BPS. Browning was making reels like that years ago.
  17. I wear the Ultimate Fishing Shoe from Cabelas it is mde by rugged shark They are light weight, thin souled, and soft.. They breathe really well and are water resistnant ,not proof. I like them alot. I think i Read on another site that Randy Blauket wears sandles year round. and if its cold he just adds socks? It is in an archived article there.
  18. I use a Lews Crankin Stick 6'6 medium. This rod has been threw the wars since the early 90's I even broke the tip off and had a splice put in it. This rod is fiberglass and is extremely soft. I love it I might get hung up a little bit more cause of the feel. But I feel this rod has helped me land alot more fish. I fish a crankbait 50 % of the time when im lake fishing. If any one knows where I can get one of these let me know. I havent seen one in a long time and i need a new one or three
  19. A bowfin aka dogg fish aka mud fish aka grennel is a very common occurence on the Mississippi River in this area. So are big drumm. But the oddest thing i have ever herd of being caught up this way was an aligator from pool 18 or 19 it was in a net. The oddest thing i have ever caught was a catfish carcus. Or a stringer with 1 dead rotting cat fish one that was on its last leggs and one that was alive as can be still atached.
  20. I know Sportsmans Warehouse stores carry Super Pork but i dont know if they cary it all. and there website is www.superpork.com
  21. Im from Galesburg Illinois I fish mainly the mississippi river from pools 18 and 19 i also fish lakes around the state. I fish 3 to 5 days a week when i can.
  22. Does any one use the pork eel when swimming a jig? For you guys who use pork i have found super pork to be the best on the market. It is thinner, comes off the hook easier and offers great action in the water. When i got ahold of these they make colors you used to not find. Check them out you will be impressed
  23. Id have to say any lure that is tied to the end of my line. Just for the simple fact that if you dont have confidence that it is a fish catching machine why throw it.
  24. Drain pipes , if you find running water fish it those drains usually always have more oxygen and more nutrients and more bait so more bass. as well alot of times its cooler water then what there living in well said on why they bite better prefront
  25. I feel advertising and marketing are a huge influence to fishermen. I'll give you a couple of examples. I rescently read an article that says Booyah and Yum brand baits are owned by Pradco. Well Booyah and Yum are the old Riverside baits. Now for some reason Yum and Booyah are becoming big names on campus all because of a name change. What else but Marketing and advertising have created this monster. You also notice half of strike kings bait say classic winning lure. Now Denny Brauer won the Classic Flipping a tube. He bought it at a sports show out of a container. He even said after the classic he had no clue what brand it was. 2 Months later Strike King has a Flipping tube. On the Package it says classic winning lure. George Cochran won the classic cranking. But the Strike King Quad Shad also says Classic Winning Lure. People will buy these baits based on Branding and how it is positioned in the market. Baits get positioned in the market by advertising. Advertising is not just on tv or in magizines. The most important form of advertising a company can recieve is word of mouth. So the next time you buy a bait because your buddy said it was good. You to were sold by advertising.
