Congrats Dan the man! I have at least two more years. Do you have a job lined up yet?
  2. Root, our professors actually tell us to buy from Amazon because they know the bookstore is a rip off. Appalachain has a textbook rental system which saves hundreds of dollars a semester. I usually have to buy 1 or 2 a semester though, and they come from Amazon.
  3. Careful... The last person to start a UPS thread was banned. :-X
  4. I took my girl there 2 weekends ago!
  5. Thank you M-Bizzle. Just as the picture shows, the Polo is also a great woman magnet.
  6. I am an avid Polo wearer. I have around 10 Ralph Lauren Polo's. A real Polo will not shrink. They are pre srhunk. Ive worn polos from Old Navy, Gap, and Nautica to name a few, and Ralph Laurens were the only Polos not to shrink. Not saying they aren't expensive, but I can attest to their quality.

I bought a Dell from Best Buy and have had no regrets buying from them. If you can get the same computer for the same price from Dell.com buy from there but I wouldn't hesitate buying one from Best Buy. Just to add, the Inspiron is a very good computer. I have the 1520. I put a lot of extra stuff on mine and it works perfectly for me. Like someone mentioned, stay away from HP. My girl has one and the fan on that thing is as loud as her hair dryer. Her keys are also falling off. Mine is still in perfect shape.
  8. I feel like its going to be pretty hard to get a nice computer for 1k.
  9. I consider myself to be somewhat of a fastfood expert. Lay a double cheeseburger beside a $6 and you'll see a difference. However, compare a double cheeseburger to a McDouble and you have yourself an arguement.
  10. RAY ALLEN.
  11. I have the 6'9" MH and 6'9" Parabolic in the LTX series. No issues here. Wouldn't trade them for the world. Other than those lame BPS online reviews, I've never heard anything bad out of them.
  12. I hear Blue Moon and Sweetwater 420 are pretty good...

My mother had her thyroid removed. They didn't remove it for cancer, but found a tiny bit in it after removed. Surgery was a piece of cake. Everything will work out. Prayers sent!
  14. x2. Can't imagine any dish where apples and meat is delicious. You are missing out. This is a very, very popular dish. http://southernfood.about.com/od/porktenderloin/r/bl00318d.htm
  15. I only needed 1020 (college algebra). 1030 is Business Calc here.
  16. Welcome from Winston Salem / Boone!
  17. Don't take offense to this, but just because some students got C's and D's doesn't mean they skated by. I would hope if your the one doing the hiring you would also judge them by their character. I can remember some interview questions I had to answer that would give the employer some insight on my character/ethics. I think that is better to go by then grades. Just my opinion. X2. I would bet money that half the football players have better grades than I do. : Different grades mean more from different colleges too.
  18. Put a "FREE TV" sign on it. It'll be gone quick.
  19. I would calm down first. I honestly don't think its anything to get worked up over. Do you know for a fact the neighbor put it there?
  20. I have your problem for about all my classes actually. I absolutely hate studying. In fact, I really can't sit down and study. I've found that as long as I go to every class and actually pay attention I do somewhat alright without studying. When I absolutely do have to study, I leave my apartment and go to the library away from the TV and computer. I am completely opposite than you in that I always try harder in my easier classes. I will get blasted for this, but in reality all that really matters is that you get that little piece of paper saying you graduated. Don't stress it. Remember this quote: "Many people have done it before you, and many people will do it after you."
  21. Don't bet on it. x2 The education will be better for the most part, you will get the occasional prof who is "burnt". But there will be plenty of people screwing around because mommy and daddy have the money and will pay for whatever when they mess up. College is not what you think. And someone of your intelligence will figure it out quick. A lot of it is still a joke and it is a business more than anything. X3 Sometimes it's just an endurance contest. : It's great to hear from you Aaron. It's hard to believe that this school year is almost over (six and a half weeks to go for us). I'm sure that you will do well in college, but like others have said, there are still alot of clowns around. You'll have to deal with them for the first couple of years, but by your junior year they have been weeded out for the most part. As I told Hookemdown, it's all about balance. If you choose to party, do it responsibly and in moderation. Activities are important, but don't let them overrun your schedule. Keep your class schedule light at first and then ease into it as you get used to them. And yes, Sam is very right. It is much easier to get into than out. Keep us posted as how to how things develop. God bless, Fisher X4 I don't even think the education is that much better. I learned more in 2 summers on actual jobsites that I have learned in 15 years of education. This is true with almost any profession.
  22. Wow. What a way to end.
  23. I'm watching it nooooooooow!
  24. I guess you have to live on tobacco road to fully understand this. I'm glad you do.
  25. It's "She's Country" by Jason Aldean.
