Bass Lake in Blowing Rock. Price Lake and Trout Lake are about 30 - 35 mins away near the parkway. Watauga Lake in TN is about 35 - 40 mins away.

It's run and gun if you want to go negative most the games. Has anyone played any of the third person yet?! I think it's pretty sweet. I am run and gun all of the time unless I have a sniper rifle, in which case, I only run and gun sometimes. My K/D ratio is 1.53 on CoD4, and is somewhere around 1.4 on MW2. *Edit* the following is not directed at you nick, just people in general-- Grow a pair and get your ass moving. Camping in a random corner with your noob tube up is grounds for man card revocation. If you arent playing S&D, or at least defending a key objective, get in the game and stop being a cheap little pantywaste! When you first start playing, your kd will suck, but if you keep moving you will actually get better. Camping serves no purpose. Anybody picked up on the fact that I dislike people who have no balls on this game? Boo HOO!

If you stay scoped in after your shot, that's what your kill cam will show. Therefore, you won't give away your position. Boucing bettys are your friends too.

Hahahaha, that reminds me.... Last Thursday I was in my room trying to sleep while my roomates were drinking heavily and playing COD WaW in our den. You know you should cut somebody off when you hear one guy yell, "Dude, when the F could you hold two guns at one time???" I face palmed in my bed.

I would be on the floor after one game. ;D

On WaW I noticed on people's kill cams that they had a clear view of me like a whole 2 seconds before I ever had a chance to see them. I don't know how all that works. I have a bad habit of zooming in for every shot. If you shoot from your waist close-up you'll win a lot more. That's what I think anyway.... but I suck so take it for what it's worth. ;D

I personally don;t fish with lures I don't think are fun. I hate fishing slow, so I use faster lures to keep me occupied. When it's no longer fun I either change lures or leave. Fishing to me should be fun, not dreading to throw a specific lure. Just my $0.02.

I think that's the rare example of when skill and balls are better than luck. He was up against some great competition. I like this streak of young players winning.

Elephants eat peanuts, Snakes eat rabbits, ants eat grasshoppers, kids eat their vegetables, etc etc etc Bottom line is this, big bass love big bait. Always have, always will. And to reiterate, i'd rather fish all day long for a big bass and not catch any (which i hate to admit i did the other day) then to catch a bunch of dinkers. If i wanted those, i'd go to the local pet shop, grab the little green net, and scoop a dozen minnows. I live nowhere near NOVA, but I have been following this whole thread. I do have to say it's quite entertaining, especially this post. ;D I wish I could play!
