  1. I absolutely love mine. I have the 6'9" MHF and the 6'9" Parabolic. It's like as heck and feels awesome with an E7 palmed. Its one of those topics that shows up about once a month and gets locked because people argue about them. If you do a search you'll find a lot of info.
  2. Yessir, an E7. You have good taste. Mines on an ugly orange Carrot Stix.
  3. Congratulations! Were you on the New or the Watauga? I was at the game too, but the keg called me back home at halftime.
  4. In between Greensboro and Winston Salem...Kernersville. Wow, that hits close to home. I live just West of Winston.
  5. Keep up the awesome work!
  6. I'd guess around 3 also. Is that a Curado on your Berkley rod?
  7. Which part of NC was this?
  8. They make split rings that are supposed to open up when hung, but not on fish. How that works, I have no idea, but at least you'll only lose the trebles and not the whole bait.
  9. Find a new hobby. That's what I do anyway...
  10. Yeah, I'd resort to low blows too if I got beat like I beat you in fantasy football!
  11. Awesome question! Hopefully someone will be along here shortly to chime in, cause I have no idea!
  12. With this internet neutrality stuff, falcon flying boy, and the world ending in 2012, I sure am glad I'm making serious headway on my fallout shelter.
  13. Are you going to the ASU game in JC Stripes?
  14. For future reference Red Wing's come in different widths too. The run wider on me, so I wear a B. Sounds like you would need an E. Since you can't order them offline anyway, its nice to go to the store and get a perfect fit.
  15. I don't know about instant replay for every questionable call, but a challenge system like the NFL would be cool.
  16. What kind of boots are you looking for? I only wear boots. I stick with Justin, Red Wing, and Ariat. I think the fact that I've never heard of them says a lot.
  17. x2, and the hooks are garbage and bend out. Bobby sent me some for free and I still have 3 of them bend out on fish, 14" fish at that. Ask bassnajr for comfirmation of it, he saw it. Ok, so if you read the first post in this string it was asking for recommendations on what would be a good alternative. This is much like Congress fighting with each other, neither side actually coming up with a viable alternative. Some say it's great, and honestly they are the manufacturers, of course they think it's great it's their product. So Tin man, what alternatives would you come up with? Or are you here just to complain? On another string roadwarrior had mentioned that he likes the cavitron buzzbaits made by the same company. I went to the website, looked at the buzzbaits, and they advertised them as the slowest and fastest planing buzzbaits around. I ordered one, and to be honest my Strike King Tri-wing buzzbaits are slower and plane faster. I'm not saying the company makes a bad product, but I know buzzbaits, and I have to say that I personally disagree with Roadwarrior's recommendations for the buzzbait. What's different here is that I really don't know jigging at all. So, where he has a point, I would like to see a more objective recommendation (I say objective because it is obvious that since Roadwarrior is an administrator, and Bobby is an advertisor, then there is a little bit of a conflict of motivations there. All due respect to both Bobby and Roadwarrior I mean no disrespect whatsoever). You'll have to get used to that if you stay here... There are some awesome recommendations here and some really horrible ones IMO, but in the end you have to decide for yourself. I have yet to see a moderator give a negative response about a product that sponsors the forum..... I use the Cavitron religiously. I haven't even tried any others, and I don't feel the need to since it works so well for me. I have tried the holy Yo-Zuri and I could have been better off fishing with a slinky. I have tried KVD Line and Lure and I would have been better off putting Elmer's glue on my line. Don't think that a moderator would have any better advice than any other fisherman. They are just like you and I. Take it for what it's worth.

  19. The freakin' Deacons!
  20. I can't help you with your HW but I can do this. Lol!
  21. One thing to remember.... High and muddy water doesn't work well with the smallmouth bite. You won't be able to wade very far if its high. You can check this link for current discharge. When its low, you better go! http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nc/nwis/uv/?site_no=02115360&PARAmeter_cd=00065,00060
  22. Donnaha Park- Below the highway 67 bridge on the Forsyth/Yadkin line. River Islands Park- Pilot Mountain state park on the Yadkin/Surry line. My family has private river land between Donnaha and the River Islands park. Most people float from the River Islands park to the Donnaha park. I wade fish inbetween.
  23. When was it a rule you had to like the team in the city you live in?
  24. Nice dude! You'll have to take me fishin sometime!
  25. X2! Good for you Canal! It's great to see there are some decent people left in the world! :
