Not trying to be a ball buster, and I may be wrong, but I think with most anything when you've never heard of the maker it's either really good or really bad. Also think about parts availabilty and stuff down the road.

Sounds good Btech. I really don't have much experience with lakes though. I live on a river so it gets the most of my time along with all of the farm ponds around. Jake should be along shortly. He has the low down from the middle of the state. Mtnbasser, I know a couple of girls from Franlkin. They are in my Spanish class. I had a similar problem with Cabela's except I was dealing with a return. The sent me the wrong action rod. I wasn't going to pay for shipping again, so after being sent up about 3 levels of management explaining every time the difference in the rods the lady finally said, "I'm glad you know what you're talking about. I have no idea what any of this means."

This was my problem when I switched from spinning. You have to make yourself release a whole lot later that what feels comfortable.
