You are still missing the point. Yes, it IS art. Maybe not to you, but to millions of other it is. Definition of art: 1. the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance. I am not asking you to like what I like either, but why post on a RHCP thread if you have nothing positive to say? I could care less about your favorite guitarists and jazz and blues players, but I don't come into your thread and diss them do I?

I will repeat, people listen to different kinds of music for different reasons. Not everybody cares if the man can sing. Obviously you do, and I respect that. I like the sound the RHCP's produce, and I can tell them apart from any other band.

I didn't know you had any formal training and, I have never even heard of your band. These guys must be doing something right... I have actually taken music courses in college, including a music culture and dialouge class where I made an "A". People like different music for different reasons; thats what makes music so great.

I like RHCP, but I don't tend to stray too far away from George Strait much. As far as it being bad music, it's all in the ear of the listener. Don't let the old farts bring you down.

I was trying to say that they skipped college before the rule was implemented. The rule isn't that old. The 1 year of college for the NBA was started after LeBron graduated I think.

Because they didn't go to college. They went to the NFL before the 1 year (or whatever it is) of college rule.

The only times I have installed them has been in buildings like garages and concession stands where hot water is needed, but only in small quantities on certain days. It's easy to get your money back here, but I don't know about heating for a whole house.

I am happy with my Dell. Last semester I ran both AutoCad and Revit simultaneously without any problems. The only thing bad about Macs is the small learning curve and the compatibilty problems with transferring stuff from Mac to PC.

Haha, I always wear an APP hat and Wake T-shirts.

APP is not in the same division as Wake. APP is D-1AA. Wake is D-1A. While APP could place in the NCAA tourney, it is highly unlikely and impossible this year. I can't remember the last time they got a berth.

I can't like more than one team? I grew up going to WF games but I didn't want to be a doctor, and I didn't want to pay 40k in tuition, so I went to APP.

That's lame. If you don't want to get hit, don't play. Nobody made them sign the contract. They know exactly what they are getting into. Most of these guys have already played 20+ years of football. They sacrifice their bodies to make millions of dollars. Football without hits on a quarterback is not football. I can't believe you would actually support rules that would ruin your favorite sport after seeing what it did to NASCAR.

x2 - All players are of equal importance. I'm not suggesting football be "civil", but I think each player should be protected equally. There was just a thing on ESPN about Roethlisberger playing with a concussion and how recently the brains of 6 NFL players who suffered concussions while playing had never really healed and suffered permanent damage. How do you propose we protect boxers? Why sign up for something knowing you'll get hit? Apples and oranges dude.... You want to box (I would love to if I didn't already have too many concussions lol), thats your move, you know what you are getting into. The helmet to helmet stuff and the way your head hits the ground is what you don't sign up for but happens. That's because its football! That's supposed to happen! You are supposed to hit people! That is the whole point of football, to knock people to the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wake is my team! I live 15 minutes from the University. I went to elementary school with #42 LD Williams and played against Nolan Smith in high school. It will be crazy if Wake beats another #1 team. I'm pumped!
