I cast right and retrieve right.

Is this common?
I use my right hand for casting and retrieving. This goes for both spinning and casting reels. Some people switch according to casting or spinning. It's all about preference.

Favorite catfish gear!
I like to use my saltwater setup that I use for peir fishing. For bait I use hot dogs, shrimp, and nightcrawlers. I hear chicken livers are killer though.

Finally got a Wii...any games you'd recommend?
I could spend hours and hours on Wii sports. I think they even have a new one with a beach theme or something. My roomate plays Mario Galaxy every once in a while. Super Smash Bros is fun as heck too.

Catching that big one
In the summer I find all of mine in the shade (overhanging trees, steepest banks) hugging close to shoreline. I cannot seem to catch a big one in the wintertime though...
