I like true turn hooks and still use them for texas rigged worms. I sharpen them first though because they are dull right out of the package. I use extra wide gap for flukes and tubes.
  2. I like to split shot Zoom trick worms with a small shot with good results. A fluke works good too. Just curious, what kind of tube is that? It looks like a solid body type.
  3. Cannonball Jig
  4. Trilene 100%. It's real good line. I also use BPS brand when I can't get the trilene,
  5. The 96 is a 4 inch bait and weighs 1 ounce.
  6. Legal in Indiana untl January1, 2013. I am anxious to try one out this year.
  7. This summer I bought two Avid baitcast rods from a local shop for reduced price. I knew they were older models but for the price I thought they were worth it, and I really wanted them. When I registered them with St Croix, I checked the date code. Both were manufactured in 2005. I don't care though, they were both in brand new condition and fish like a dream. Good luck!
  8. I also use Berkley 100% fluorocarbon. I don't have to worry about weeds either, because the lakes I fish don't have alot of weedbeds.
  9. I listed all my old stuff on Craigslist and sold it, then took the cash and bought a new Revo Premier. Craigslist is a great tool and it's free.
  10. The BPS Pro Qualifier has a 4.7 : 1. I have the 5.2:1 I use for crankbaits and I like it. And they are on sale now.
  11. I have never counted casts, but I have spent as much as an hour on one spot that I believe may hold fish. I start on top then work my way down with different baits and it has paid off with some very nice fish.
  12. I don't know about the classic, but on the show "Bass Pro's, he was using a 7' MM Quantum tour KVD for the square bill cranks.
  13. Lake Fork live magic shad. Gives the bait a nice profile.
  14. Looks nice! You wouldn't believe some of the beat up boats I have seen for sale that people ask more than that for.
  15. Yes, same rod. I use a Shimano Crucial 7' medium heavy for worms, carolina rigs and heavier jigs.
