that sucks avid. Good that your ok.
  2. ooooooh Me likes the craw one.
  3. That is a good question. This is where good equipment and experience come into play. Its all about feel. This is going to sound stupid but you have to become the lure. Staying in contact with the lure is key. BTW flourecent line and a black light help alot if you have one. I have only fished with one a couple times. it makes it alot easier to fish at night.
  4. Yeah what were they thinking of going against the Colts. Thats as bad as going with a pflueger instead of a shimano
  5. x points are awsome. Best hook I've ever used. Keep an eye out in the for sale on here. I'm going to have a fall cleaning sale, I need some shelf space in the basement.
  6. Need anyone to go with you. I can make a mean PBJ sandwich. : Good luck dude.
  7. Pretty close. I guess I gave the Saint's offense too much credit. : so true.
  8. well, Finally got to fish monday. Pretty slow day over all. I first started out with no scent on a hand poured beaver and a homemade jig. It was slow. Few little ones here and there. Started using the megastrike and I started to catch more fish. It wasnt a ton more but my numbers did increase. Same lures, same area the only thing changed was adding the megastrike. I like it slot so far. I also got to take out my custom Big M cranks. For some reason I didnt take a pic of fish off the firetiger one but I did of the craw. Thiis bait is awsome. he isnt big by any means but the only pic I took Here is a bass around 4.5lbs off a hand poured beaver and megastrike I lost a toad. :'( I've caught alot of 5+6's and a few 7's but this fish put all of them to shame. It was barely hooked in the mouth. Pulled my little boat around for about five minutes and swam right next to it. I saw the hook barely in the fish and thought once she jumps its all over. Well thats what happened. I just wanted to cry after that. :'(
  9. I've always used pam spray. Works great, cheap and easy. The polyurethane I dont think will hold up very long. Your better off with epoxy. great demo
  10. I've been doing little cheaper things to help but I've pretty much done all of those. Now I'm at windows and doors and obviously attic insulation. Good to hear how much your saving.
  11. Nope I wasnt being sarcastic. I've been doing alot of research and for my area I need a R49 I believe. I will have to look again. It came out to about 15" of insulation and I only have about 4 :. I wish there was a way to do the walls but it wouldnt be cost effective. It would meen new siding or drywall. sending pm Thanks guys
  12. I think west coast custom baits has them.
  13. Thats why I went with them. I like the multi species aspect.
  14. THats awsome. She is definately a keeper. I got Direct not to long ago. That about all I have watched for the last 2 weeks is the NFL channel. Its awsome.
  15. I like both teams alot but Chicago has Gossman so my vote is for the chargers.
  16. bushnell makes a one. I think its called the yard pro 400 or something like that its about 150 bucks. I've had a range finder for the last 5-6 years. One of the best things I have bought.
  17. Who is going to win? I'm going wit the Colts The winners win a prize.*** *** To laugh at the losers ;D
  18. Now you are getting complicated :-/ I think the only way to fix that issue is completely design the whole top portion. The problem I would see with it is the plastic balling up on the hook then you miss fish. If you want we/you can come up with something. I'd be interested in that bait too. A place I fish a 6" beaver style would be awsome. BTW I think I might have just thought of a solution depending on how thick your talking about. I have a single sided beaver mold. If I join them together it will give a slightly larger profile then a regular beaver. The problem will lie in the appendages and getting them centered on the bait.
  19. Oops, I just noticed you said 3600 not 3700. Anyway, I dont know if a falcon and 3600 are the same size. Actual box might be but the hinges might cause a problem.
  20. I guess I dont understand. :-? I have a plano bag that holds 5 3700. But I just replace one of them with the falcon box and have a little extra space on the sides since the 3700 is just a bit bigger. The falcon imo holds just as much and better. I would look at possibly just reorganising tackle somehow to fit it. Its the best box for little doodads that I have ever seen. I never found a way to keep hooks and other accessories from slidding around in a 3700
  21. Yes, Buy a falcon hook organizer and never look back. You will be wishing you'd done that years ago.
  22. Well it could be done. The problem is the taper of the bait. But here is how you would do it. 1 Buy some beavers or similiar style you like 2 take one as the lure you will modify 3. use the other ones to cut out sections of the ribbed body and match them all up. 4. Glue all of the pieces together to where it gives you a good outline 5. Make a 2 piece plaster mold and cut vent holes 6. Epoxy the inside of the mold 7. pour in your plastic Thats how it would be done. Btw it is an excellant idea. 8-) PS Senkosam is probably one of the best at modifying lures that I have seen. He has some awsome creations.
  23. well guys, I'm in the process of making my house more energy efficient. I'm tired of paying outrageous heating/cooling bills. So I climbed up in the hot attic and noticed I have a ton of insulation. : The heigth of a 2x4. So I put in some soffit vents for step #1. Next will be the baffles So that leaves me with this question. Have any of you guys blown in insulation before. Any tricks or pointers?
  24. Beer Brats Angelina Jolie Those 3 make a great combination for a tailgate party. ;D
  25. I had a bad feeling last night. I thought I lost a finesse worm mold and a beaver mold last night. took me 1 hr to find those suckers. :-?
