  1. I love these worms. They produce for me when nothing else will. I throw them on a lightweight T-Rig. 1/8 oz sinker, Light Wire Straight Shank hook.
  2. I don't think he uses spinnerbait trailer hooks. He said that he uses the hooks that are used to make spinnerbaits. He mentioned that he uses Owner spinnerbait hooks. I'm guessing that it is probably the Owner 5320 Spinnerbait Hook. Here is a link: http://www.ownerhooks.com/pages/products/hooks/specialtyhooks.htm
  3. I have used both of them and like them both. I end up using the Anaconda more often though. I love that coffee scent.
  4. I have used Suffix Elite for the last 2 seasons. I like it a lot for spinning reels. I just started using Suffix Siege on my baitcasters and I like that even better. It casts really well, has great knot strength and is very durable.
  5. I prefer paddletails with my swim jigs. My favorite is the Reaction Innovations 3.5 inch Little Dipper. I cut off the head (about the first 1/2 inch). This trailer gives the bait a nice side to side rolling action. I love the KVD swim jig bluegill color matched up with the Sprayed Grass color Little dipper. I have also used a 4 inch Swimming Senko but it doesn't have as much rolling action as the little dipper.
  6. I have been trying these out with different types of plastics. They worked really well with fluke style baits. Depending on where you hook the bait you can really get them to dance. If you hook it in the middle you can get it to quiver nicely. If you hook it more towards the front you can get it to dart and dive violently. Give it a try it may work for you too.
  7. I own the Energy 6'6" MF spinning rod. It is my favorite spinning rod. I use it mostly for wacky rigs but it works well for a lot of other things. I have used it for fishing shaky heads, grubs, flukes, topwater poppers, spooks, small crankbaits, jerkbaits, small spinnerbaits, etc. It is a very solid, dependable, versatile rod. It handles casting lures from 1/8 to 5/8 very well. If you're looking to fish anything lighter than that then you may have some better options out there. If not, then I can definitely recommend this rod.
  8. The Super spook jr is one of my favorites. Especially with a feathered treble.
  9. I live in Richmond. I fish Lake Anna, Chick River, and Chick Lake most of the time. I also fish local ponds in the Richmond area. I like to float the Upper James at least once a year with my son. I am spending a week at Kerr Reservoir this spring. It will be our first trip there and my son and I are really looking forward to it.
  10. I just bought my first boat this year and I fished Lake Anna about a half-dozen times. I haven't had much success there yet but I am hoping to get better with time.
  11. I just picked up the President XT tonight. I picked it up in the 6735 size. It was selling for 59.99 and they were having a 10% off sale at my local tackle shop. It ended up costing me less than 54 bucks. I can't wait to try it out.
