  2. Has anyone tried these baits ? If so, what type of setup would you recommend? (rod, reel, line etc.) Thanks!
  3. These baits work! My best colors are: green pumpkin, brown / char- truese lam. & black / brown lam. Make sure you rig the lam. ones with the darker color on top. I use a 1/8oz. stand-up jig, with a single wire weed guard. You might want to check the skirts to see if any of the legs need seperating. I also insert a small glass rattle between the end of the hook and the tails. Don't forget to some scent (Megastrike) S-L-O-W-L-Y hop and crawl it on the bottom, between pauses. Fish ON!!!
  4. In clear water, when frog fishing, I use this set-up: 50lb braided line, with a 2ft. leader of 20lb florocarbon joined together with a double uniknot. hook is tied to the leader with a improved clinch knot. Has anyone heard of this ? is a florocarbon leader needed when frog fishing in clear water?
  5. Been using an40 for years. I like using the silver in off colored water, & the green in clear water. The price is right too.
  6. Bought a Falcon e glass rod at a garage sale. It's 5'6" in length & rated for 1/4-1/2oz lures. Med action, 10-20lb. test line. What type of lures could I use with this rod? Thanks for all your imput!
