  5. That's happened to me, more than once. So now I try to keep them in the original pkg., or put them in the appropriate size ziplock, & write on the bag, what they are.
  6. I like them both. The Owner Rig-n-Hook for thicker tubes & grubs. Gammy G-lock EWG for stickbaits & worms.
  7. A good entry-level line for beginners. A good choice for guys who change their line after every 3-4 outings.
  8. Original Chatterbait 3/8oz. Black nickle blade/black/blue fleck shirt(great at night) Gold blade/brown skirt Silver blade/green pumpkin skirt GOOD LUCK!! BB

That happens to me once in a while. I just give the line a jerk and it'll usually flip over on it's belly.
  10. When you do peg, use Water Gremlin's Bull Shot. DITCH THE TOOTHPICK!! BB

A movie could be made, starring that creature. You could name it: "ALIEN IV- THE OFFSPRING"
  12. Zetabait 5" Skink Lizard (an oldie, but goody) :-X
  13. Try a gopher jig head, 1/8-1/4oz, with a 4.5" culprit worm. (pinch 1.5" to 2" off the head of a 6" if needed.) A ballhead or darterhead with a 3" to 4" twister tail grub is another good choice. Don't forget, the 3-hook prerigged worms . (K&E bass stopper & Kelly's Plow Jockey.) All these lures are great for kids and they CATCH FISH! Best of all they allow them to cast and reel.(which they want to do anyway!) In cold water, S-L-O-W down the retrieve. GOOD LUCK !! BB
  14. I always use a leader when fishing braid. I'll tie a small Spro power swivel between the braided line and the leader. (copolomer or florocarbon) Leader length, 18-24". BB
  15. Fish it both ways. The fish will tell you what they want.
  16. I've tried to do that a couple of times, but always end up bringing a couple of different lures with me anyway. :-/ On a previous post, Mrs. M says she practices that.
  17. My buddy has been crushing the bass on this senko style bait. (he won't tell me any details) Has anyone ever heard of, or fished these baits. Thanks, BB
  18. After the initial fall, I let it sit on the bottom. Literally. I let the bait sit, for 2-4 min. without moving it. (deadsticking) When I do move it, I lift the bait up a few inches, and let it flutter back down. Then I let sit some more. Strikes are detected when you feel a "tap" or see your line move off in any direction. I've caught alot of quality bass using this method. PATIENCE is the key here. Give it a try. You'll be surprised. Good Luck ! BB
  19. I'd give the Paca Craw colors : Summer craw in the summer Alabama craw in the late summer a try. In one of his articles, *** stated: " Mind your greens & browns", when picking crayfish colors. Good Luck !
  20. Great advice, 90X !
  21. Try a Norman's Deep Little N (10-12') in the suicide(17) pattern. Also Spro's Little John MD (9') in the cellmate pattern. (kinda' pricey) BPS carries both online, I don't know about the store. GOOD LUCK ! BB
  22. Just bought some Hot Sauce, grease & oil. Can anyone advise me on a good brand ? :-/ Thanks, BB
