  1. Soooo........we goin' fishin' or what?
  2. So Mashpee is a starting point......now if that works for everyone........then When?
  3. Harriman Reservoir, in Wilmington Vt. has always been very boater friendly in the past. Complete with an Excursion boat, I don't think they will mind fishing boats.
  4. So just for the sake of argument...what if the Northeast Membership were to meet at...Oh I don't know.....Congamond...or Barton's Cove...or Harriman Reservoir? Maybe around the middle of September...or August...or July? Is this worth the aggravation?
  5. I don't know...you kinda look like an axe murderer to me....we here in S.E. Mass generally have a few gettogethers and you know you're welcome anytime with me. Unfortunately we haven't been able to coagulate this year, yet. We will though. Keep watching. Grampa
  6. Seems to me....we could be planning some meetings now....not much else to do....
  7. Meeting? Did somebody say meeting? I'm ready...where?.....When?.......Can I come too?
  8. Just saw the show and you look good doing it. Good products...do you market those weight stops?
  9. As Roadwarrior stated Yo-zuri 6# for spinning and 12# for baitcasting......and if flipping is in your future don't forget 50#-65# braid.
  10. Personally, I find MH to be the right stiffness, 5'9" for close work around shallow cover and docks,,,,,,,7'6" for open weeds and grass for offshore work...both on 6.1-1 baitcasters.
  11. I switch hands after casting because my right thumb is much better suited to controling the cast than my left......well worth shifting hands to keep the backlashes to a minimum.
  12. That is a sweet accessory.......too bad we need to look into it.......if it's not yours leave it ALONE....
  13. Let me throw this out as a starting point...Saturday evening February 11, Rte 24NB Rest area, Int Rte 24 &Rte. 495. DD and BK at rest area. 7PM
  14. Allright....when..... where..... who's coming? Let's get started.....Anyone.....anyone?
  15. John, perhaps allowing people to vent their frustration, is the best way to breed conformity.
  16. I agree with Bluebasser86, on those rare occasions when frying is in order....the first cut is to sever the spinal chord.
  17. My pleasure and you are welcome to join the get together discussion as well.
  18. You are the answer to a prayer...just put your address and phone number up here and we'll get in touch...
  19. Keep in mind that it's not the Warden's fault that they changed the rules. Just like (if I may) It's not the Players fault if the Refs make a bad call. They are just doing their jobs. Which leads us to good people continuing to do good things.
  20. I certainly think that 'making money' was the farthest thing from the Massachusetts legislators minds when they concocted this farce. Only the welfare of those 64 loons was considered...........right........If that were truly the case then only Loon infested waters should fall under the ban......I still don't think that those (insert derogatory term of your choice) will spring for a big enough budget to put more Game Wardens to work enforcing the law....again more idealistic drivel at the taxpayers expense. 21. Jiggy, I just reread your design and really like it. I think that the use of the jig will dictate the trailer type and control the rolling. If you are flipping with a craw or pork trailer then spinning is irrelevant. If you are swimming the jig then the use of a frog type trailer will stabilize spinning. In either case though, I would use a screw lock with a slightly opened wide gap hook. Great job sir,,,you've done well. Grampa
  22. We'll get you flippin' into some trees on the Merrimack and you'll get rid of that 6lb mono quick enough. This jig will be perfect.
  23. I'm just thinking of spinning during a swimming presentation and possible hanging up but I like it a lot for flipping.
  24. We are gonna change that this year. Jiggy that won't be a problem flipping but might be if you plan to swim the jig.
  25. great news Grundle...now I don't have to worry about being beaten in my own boat.....unless I pull Jiggy......or Jonesie......or Freebie......or.......
