  1. I was thinking wacky would be great b/c it would look like a dieing bait fish. I'm fired up I am going to start working on mastering this bait I hear great things. Do you guy's use BC or spinning? Can I put fluro on my BC? I am still learinig BC and I'm good with the mono line. Will switching to fluro effect my BC reel? So when I work this bait I give it a little swim action with alot of twiches? How deep should it go?
  2. Hey thanx guys. Well About the Fluro I use Mono on both set ups is this ok? I read that I could just put a leader of Fluro on is this correct? I'll search the threads later I did earlier but I didn't see much.
  3. Hey guys a buddy just gave me some flukes. I never used them before or even read much about them. I looked up one article on the site and did get much info other then how to rig it. Can you guy's tell what you use and how to fish it? If you guys have a link I would love to read it. What is the difference from a fluke to a super fluke? Can I wacky rig it? Thanks guys
  4. Hey how much is the berkley's? How good is the one from Walmart?
  5. I use Mono on a BC 7' Med. I've had strikes at 30 ft and felt it fine. Once the plastic hits the water I engauge and keep my left index finger snug under the line. This allows me to feel the smallest fish. Sometimes I even feel blue gills giving a few little bits trying to get a peice of the worm. I am still learning myself so yes I have missed a few hook sets but do usally land the fish. I love the BC for plastics haven't learned how to fish cranks on it very well thats my next step.
  6. Wow thats a bass. I would say 5-6 lber. I trying to fish that river one day for now I am on the Delalware. I have alot of freinds by there though in Hazelton. Congrats
  7. Wow thats really amazing. I was in a situation like that yesterday. I have a park 5 min from my work which has 2 small lakes. I call them the lunch box lakes. I caught a few nice ones here. But I haven't been there once and not caught anything till yesterday. I tried spinners, trick sticks, brush babys, and jigs but I came up with nothing. The next time this happens I will throw a jitterbug or Hula popper.
  8. What is this pop R ? Do you mean popper
  9. I agree with the plastics. Its a great and fun way to learn. Up here I use T rigged and Wacky b/c the bottoms are really rocky and I get hung up all the time. I use all *** and They a very effective for us around here. Good Luck and Welcome
  10. You have got to learn not to stereotype the way you fish. Think outside the box once in a while , you may be surprised. Hey what do you mean by this?
  11. Wow thanks a lot guys This has taught me alot. I also have the tiny torpedo and hula popper I am trying to learn. See I thought I could only use these baits around dusk, night, and dawn so now I can learn faster b/c they are effective at other times in the day. I didn't know that the buzz baits were that effective either. I have a lot of work to do now. Thanks again.
  12. Hey guy's I picked up a jitter bug a few day's ago. I am confused when to use this bate and how to retrieve it. I've tried sowly ,chugs and fast I've had nothing yet.
  13. Have you tried a weedless Wacky Trick Stick? I have been in the same situation and it worked. I pulled the rig thew the weeds and allgey was a little covered but is very productive. I let it fall in front of the area and on the way down I get some strikes. I also add some twiches in the bait here and there. You can buy a weedless jig head or I just rig the octopus hook inside the worm so I won't get hung up.
  14. Ok thats great to know thanks guy's your the best.
  15. Hey guy's as you already know I am getting a boat. Now I want to be able to take it into The Delaware River along with large lakes. I have found good deals on 4HP, 5HP motors. Is a 4HP strong enough to go against the current? I really need to know if this is worth it.
  16. looks really good thank you

  19. Hey Guy as you know I have been looking for a trailer. I am getting a 12' jon boat. In the treasure hunt I have found 2 PWC (wave runner) Trailers for $350. Now I want to go see them and take the measurments to see if it'll work for the boat. I want to know if anyone has ever done this and if it works. I was thinking if the trailer is about 10' the the boat will hang over a littlre bit like 2' or so. Will this be ok if it is strapped down?
  20. I found a wave runner trailer for cheap I am going to go get the measurement today to see if it'll work. Has anyone ever used one for a boat before?
