I agree dark natural colors work best. I was fishing a 3'' trick stick the other day had a few stricks on brown and swiched to a light green with white belly and I got nothing so RW is rite. Hey RW I got the * and I was trying them out for the first time. I fished them weedless & weightless the bait did nothing but sink slowly it look like a green turd LMAO I started think of you then and the thread we had about the bait in current. But this was in a lake what should I add I had a 3/0 Gama EWG should I add weight? Also were can I order those hooks for the Brush Babys? The ones with the weight built in on a off set worm shank. I also got the double tail grubs as well do the need weight you think or try weightless first. So it dosn't matter how I use the grub as long as its slow? Is this correct?

My Spinning set up is 7' Allstar Med. 8lb line Pfeluger presidental reel My BC setup is 7' Med Fenwick I have a Pinnacle BC reel LP 100 Platnium Plus 10ld line I have the tension knob set so when the bait hits the gound the spool stops. I keep the magnetic at #8

I have been learning BC. I am just really focused on fishing a T rig soft bait weightless untill I can get it down. Now Why is it thal my cast distance is cut in half when I use BC compared to Spinning. Sould I only use spinning while fishing weightless plastics? Thanks guys
