I like it. ;D I've heard good stuff about Hemingway. One of my fishing buddies who hates reading read "The Old Man and the Sea" and really liked it. Hemingway wrote "A Farewell to Arms" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls" in Piggot, AR, which is a small town a few miles from my city. I'll have to give him a try.

I'm an avid reader, but I've slacked off this year. I'm thinking about reading some of Hemingway's work. Does anybody like him?

I'm a big 70's guy. I love Classic Rock and Blues. I think that SRV may be a god, but I can't prove it. But, I like SOME of the newer stuff. Nirvana, Foo Fighters, White Stripes, and for some reason Rammstein. I like a wide variety of music. I've even been known to listen to Marcus Miller for hours.

We were quite prepared after the ice storm hit us. We had all of the prescriptions up to date, about 10 gallons of fuel, plenty of food and water that would have lasted over a week, batteries, radios (even had a CB that I didn't even know we had). We've got a wood stove in our house, so staying warm wasn't a problem. But, we don't have a generator. You don't necessarily need one, but it would be really nice to have. Clean water was a big deal around here for the past few days. The water was horrible, and the county had issued a boil notice. But, people that still were without electricity (which was about 90% of the town) had no way of boiling their water.
