Hey guys... long time, no see. Me and a few friends are heading down to Dallas for a Clapton concert next week. We're down there for four days and don't really have a clue what to do. If any of you guys are from Dallas or familiar with the area and know of some "cool" places to go/things to do, speak up.

Kobe is a beast. But then again, I'm biased.

My family have driven Chevy for the past 30 years. This will continue...until I have enough money to buy a new Tundra.

We would have late games all the time when I played little league. 12 year olds can handle it fine. But 6 year olds playing ball at 10pm is pushing it. It gets worse with tournaments... I remember playing on a couple All-Region teams. During tourneys, we would play all day. Sometimes the title game (I was pretty good back in the day ;D ) would start at 9pm or later. We wouldn't get back home until 1 or 2am.

Does anyone have any experience with the Dell XPS lines, specifically the M1530?

I already own a external HD, on which I keep music, large files, etc. That's why I really don't need a 300 GB HD. I've heard a lot of good things about thinkpads, but I've also heard that the quality has drastically gone down since the deal with Lenovo. Dell... I've never used a dell laptop, so I have no idea on the quality, reliability, and performance. A friend of mine works at a computer repair shop, and he says that he hates dell.

Ahhh...were to start? I've used my friends 15'' Macbook, and I love it. I've always said that I'd buy a Mac, but the $$$$ keeps getting in the way. I need your opinions on laptops. I've looked at them all: Dell, Lenovo, HP, Sony... and I can't make up my mind. I'm looking for: Display - Around 15'' At least 2GB RAM Hard Drive - 150+ I really don't need a 300GB HD Weight - As light as possible Price - around $1000 I want something that is tough and built solid. I really don't care about looks. I've got 3 months till my first year of college starts, so let the discussion begin.

Legacy costs are pensions, insurance, medical benefits etc. paid to the retirees.

It's technically within the Department of Biology, but they have a specific Pre-Med program. I'm actually torn between Pre-Med and Pre-Dental. They are basically the same classes, just under different titles.

Thanks for the advice. I'm involved in every major club in HS right now, hopefully I can do the same in college. I might even try to start up a fishing team there.

My mom would kill me if she knew that I associated with people like you. ;D I'm majoring in Pre-Med.

The great and fulfilling world of scholarships have been kind to me. I was awarded a full ride to the University of Central Arkansas Honors College. This not only nailed down UCA as my final choice, but also took a giant financial burden off of my shoulders. Hopefully I can pertain the Arkansas Governor's Scholarship ($12k) and a few local private scholarships. That would be awesome. Has anyone else decided on their post-graduation plans?

I'm already getting chills.

I've been ready. Our season starts April 11, and I'm already overly anxious. I went up to our land a few days ago, and it looks like a war zone from the ice storm that rolled through a few months ago.

This is what I believe. I have no problem in believing that the Earth is billions of years old. A billion years is just a drop in the bucket if you really think about it. I think we know so little about what is really out there that it is somewhat pathetic. I believe.
