  1. I started dating my girlfriend when I was 17 and she was 18. Sure...one year is different than 3, but it's legally the same thing. If her parents are alright with it, and you both have feelings for each other...I see no problem with you starting a responsible relationship with her (if you want...). So what? This the everything else section. If you check my posts you'll find the same thing. I still fish, but I'm not active in the fishing sections anymore. Give the guy a break. He was asking advice, not looking for a bashing. Geez...this forum has went downhill.
  2. I'm tired of my feet being sore and wet. As a college student, I walk several miles every day through water, mud, and God knows what else (there is a mystery puddle behind our caf that is very suspicious). I'm looking for a comfortable, lightweight lowtop. And does anybody have an experience with waterproof shoes? It's sure be nice to keep my feet dry, but I'm wondering if they'd be hot and make my feet sweat during summer. Thanks
  3. From my experiences in Arkansas...hell yes. I have a classmate that is writing his thesis on standardized testing/grade inflation. I'll ask him for some specifics. Here's my opinion. The kids have to want to learn, and that starts in the household. I went to a terrible high school and came out fine.
  4. It sounded like a drunk version of Bob Dylan doing bluegrass....yes, sonic abortion indeed.
  5. Seriously? Yeah. I read about it in the paper last week. The same article said that they were also dumping saltwater into the ocean...
  6. I absolutely love elk. And you guys are kidding when you say that bear is terrible. It was just awful...I really don't want to think about it. I like squirrel, but I can never seem to cook it right. One of my hunting buddies does a heck of a job though. I thought that wild hog tasted pretty good, but I've only had it once.
  7. You guys are having way too much fun with this.

  9. I'm really impressed guys. Keep them coming! Burley, that photo of the geese is great.
  10. Wait until you get into college. You won't have 7 bucks.
  11. Yep. Your arrows do no good when they're laying on the ground 25 feet below you.
  12. Yes sir. http://remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire/model-750/model-750-woodsmaster.aspx Like I said, my dad had an older version this gun. It looks similar (it's a semi-auto .30-06), but I don't know if it's the same model. I'll try to ask him about it one day.
  13. This might be a little off topic, but my mom had colon cancer about 8 years ago. (Wow, I can't believe it's already been that long ago) She recovered quickly and has been cancer free for the last several years. She takes this stuff called Essiac Tea. It looks like muddy water. I doubt it does any good, but it can't hurt to try it. She swears by the stuff.
  14. Actually, it stands for Armalite Model 15. It is a semi- automatic weapon. Duck hunters use semi-autos. I know several deer hunters that use semi-auto's. Does this look like an "assault rifle" to you? That is a Remington Model 750. My dad uses an older version of this gun. I know several people that use it. Just because a rifle has a synthetic stock and a pistol grip does not mean it's a "bad gun." The only difference is aesthetics. Besides, I'd rather have my .270 bolt action in the woods any day.
  15. Favre overrated? In the words of my generation: "LOL"

  17. I'm quite curious exactly how much of that money is really getting used where it's suppose to be for. It's suppose to be going to schools as well....but i hear horror stories of kids that don't even have books in class. So it makes me wonder if that's even true. AR is using their lottery to revamp the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship. Before the lottery, there were strict financial limitations on who could receive the help. Now, I believe almost anyone who applies is eligible, regardless of financial status. It's a fairly large scholarship, about $5,000 a year.
  18. All I have to say is: thanks for the scholarships! I'll gladly take your money.

I use a Fusion. It beats the heck out of disposables. I hate electric razors, they never could give me a close shave. Shaving can be a pain in the arse, but there are few things better than a freshly shaven face...or at least that's what my girlfriend says.
  20. I hate seeing that happening to Colt, especially after what happened to Bradford. Losing a player like that can destroy your morale and playing ability. But...the game is not over yet. I've seen crazier stuff happen. However, I don't think anything short of Vince Young putting a jersey on will help the Horns pull this one out.
  21. ...and myocardial infractions.
