  1. I agree 100% with RW's post. Barbs are an extra insurance that keeps the fish on. They don't harm the fish any more than a barbless hook, and their not that much harder to extract from the fish's mouth.
  2. "pin the tail on the donkey. Then we'll...

Muddy, i'm glad to see you back. (nice avatar by the way ) I put total blame on the bait monkey for this one. I often find myself concentrating more on getting more fishing stuff than I actually do on fishing. You can get caught up in this whirlwind and be trapped before you know it. Great quote catt.
  16. I know how you feel FM, i'm in my junior year in HS right now. Between school, sports, and my dismal social life, I hardly have any spare time. Just keep hanging in there. I know that school can be tough at times, but we certainly ARE living the best days of our life right now.
  17. You've certainly got that right!
  18. If you mean a topcoat for hardbaits.... Most people uses Devcon 2ton epoxy, But there are others, such as dick's lurecoat.
  19. Well ahhh. you might say You know come to think about it, I guess so, but I wouldn't put it so bluntly and what, are you taking over for Avid. One of the funniest things i've read in a while...
  20. I've had a few of my RT's for what seems like forever. I've had them so long because they are one of my best producing baits. ^^ x2
  21. Do I like to eat fish? -- Of course! I often enjoy catfish (which should be the state food of Arkansas), perch and walleye. I C&R for two reasons 1. It helps protect the future of bass fishing 2. I hate the taste of bass
  22. ...and what makes this place what it is, is the superb quality of your members here. It's just hard to find more caring and friendlier people out in the world.
  23. When I joined this site over a year ago, I was an inexperienced fisherman who sought after the vast amount of fishing knowledge this site had to offer. I checked with the site daily, and learned more about fishing that I ever imagined. But now, I find myself posting in the "everything else" section more often. You see, BR started out as an information source, but It has grown into much more than that for me. I can always turn to our members for a quick pick me up, a blast of humor, and support for the more serious things. I have gone from posting something like "what's the best line?"( :) to posting about family relations, jokes and problems that I have. I feel free to share almost anything with yall, which is definitely unique of an internet site. I can be having a horrible day, but find relief in one of Frogtog's jokes. BR is something really special to me. The bottom line is... It's a place that I can call "home"
  24. Megastrike is one of the best -if not the best- attractant that I have tried
