Well I was fishing with my friend and we were talkin about school and whatnot, and we were talkin quite deeply bout the tests we have and stuff. So I just went out to cast and when my arm was JUST coming forward I just realized I didnt have my thumb on the line and I had just engaged the release switch thingie, so all my line just goes flyin everywhere and I just told my friend Im packin up for the day hahaha. How stupid, but thats what you get for not paying attention I guess any dumb stuff ever happened like this to you?

I just bought a rebel pop-r and a super spook jr. about4 hours ago. I cant wait to get to fish them in a larger body of water.

Where can i buy super spook jrs.? Is it an internet only thing or would Wal mart have one? I cant go check right now. Thanks.

Topwaters are cool baits. I use zoom horny toads but I cant cast them on my nice new BC reel. I mean I could use my spinning but I dont want too. So could anyone give me a nice topwater that I could nicely cast on a baitcasting reel that gives some good action and good results? Thanks

How should I rig it, T rigged or wacky? I keep losing them wacky rigged (the bait)

Wait, on the "slow horizontal sweep" do you sweep back and forth? Or one direction? And take ten steps? ten steps to the side? Sorry just confused about this method.

In that guide why cant I use my baitcaster? is the bait to light?

I dont have any LIPPED crankbaits, so should I get a X-Rap shad? They seem killer, especially with the feathered tail.

Im fishing in Florida

Well I have been fishing for a little bit for 5 days in a row for many hours with no results.. I have been using plastic worms, some horny toads, chatterbait, spinnerbait, and rat-l-traps and none of them are producing at all. And Im not just fishing 2 casts Im fishing alot with them all. I cant be fishing them all wrong. So I was curious as to something new that I could try to start catching again. Its very discouraging and kinda makes me want to just stay home instead of fishing. Any recommendations?

I would really like to know how to fish worms as I dont use them much but everyone says thier awesome. I kinda dont think so. Which ones are good and how do you retrieve?

I have the black max, its my fist BC, and I LOVE IT. Black max is the silver max but black.

I use my personal "two touch method" in which case you give it a solid solid cast for distance and RIGHT AFTER you cast you put your thumb on the line and pull it back off. This slows down the spool to the good speed, while keepin the solid cast distance. Then the second touch is stopping it before it hits the water. Almost fool proof for me.

I kind of don't like the polomar knot, so which do you guys think would be better, learning to tie a nice Trilene knot (which is very easy) or keeping the Uni-Knot?

Ok im trying to learn the palomar knot but everytime I do it it comes out wierd looking. Is it a wierd looking knot or am I doing something wrong?

Hey guys I am looking for a really nice knot to tie my lures to my line with. I am TIRED of losing fish with the clinch knot, it sucks I have lost 6 fish on it no lie. I like the uni-knot, but was wondering what knot you guys like the best and recommendations. Thanks.

When you have a lure thats working great and stuff, do you want to have more of a challenge and change it up or do you stick to one lure faithfully till it doesnt work anymore? I like to stick to one because I'm not the kind of guy to try new things when the other is working just fine, I just wanna catch fish. How bout you guys?

Well I caught a fish with the yo yo retrieve but was curious how you guys did it, Do you simply cast and pull back, stop and go, yo yo, or just go crazy? I personally try all three and if it isnt working I switch lures.

When doing the YO-YO, in order to make the Rat fall, do you pause or do you reel slower then pull up, or just keep reeling then pull up and so on and so forth?

I would like everyone to know that last night I bought a Rat-L-Trap Crankbait (lipless) and today at about 10:30 am I just landed a 3 lb 16 incher largemouth bass on my 5TH cast no lie.
