I like to throw parallel to the ledge with a crankbait. I can cover more water and stay in the strike zone longer.With the jig I try and pin-point the ledge and come from shallow to deep or deep to shallow! And if I find them on the ledge with the crank and the bite does slow down then I would pick up the jig or worm and work it over good, and you should pick a few more fish up!

Just fish a double drop shot and be done with it. Or if you feel real lucky fish a 3 hook DS.and use the VMC spin shot hooks.You can cover alot more water. i have fished the double alot the past 2 years and it works great. This year I am going with 3 hook DS.

I am down to these two reels. Of the two what one can I get more distance, and i know the rod has alot to do with it. So, say a rod MH or M action Veritas? I like the TP alot but the BB has caught my eye?

Just like Francho said ,it last for weeks. I will put it on a Baby Paca craw and my garage smells for more that a few weeks JJ's does penetrate the plastic, other sents just lay on the surface! JJ's is the best sent out there!!

I have been going back and forth on which ( I did get it wright new2BC4bass ) Lews to buy,the TP or the BB1,TMG. I want a reel that I can fish cranks on to C-rigs to jigs to top water, am I asking too much from a baitcaster? I have 28 rods in the boat so I don't need this one but I fell in love with the Lews!
