I had the Nitro for a while. It was an okay reel but I wasn't happy with the drag There was basically 2 settings.........tight and really tight.

Don't mean to get off topic in your thread, but seeing where your at I was just wondering if you ever hit Marshmiller? It's been years, but I used to love that lake. Is it still fairly decent? I've been wanting to get back over there for the last 2 summers.

What herbs contributed to that dream? I would have felt better if that were the case, as it is I don't share that story very often.

My post is aimed more at making the younger guys and the other new members feel more welcome. As was said earlier, people that have been here for a while can maybe understand and roll with it, but I'm sure that a lot of the kids and new users that come to this site are looking to be acccepted and to be part of the mix. Yes, I know sometimes you need to grow a pair and not let things bother you, but isn't it just as easy walk away from a post that you don't agree with rather than start a pizzing match?

Why is it just in the last few weeks that some of the comments made in various forums/posts have been rude and uncalled for? Is it because of winter and being pent up? :-/ We all talk about what a great forum that Glenn, Keri, and the mods have provided for us and express this to the new members on a daily basis thru the New Members Board. Obviously the banter between members who are familiar with each other doesn't count, but young members with simple questions or obvious comments are being met with sarcasm and rude retorts by some. Other new members being blasted more recently in the flea market because of the recent hiatus of a man last known in the OK/TX area. We have the whole gamut from young to old and inexperienced to professional on this board, can we at least police ourselves a little better for the boss and his mods? Mike, for your benefit, I spealt a couple of words wrong. Okay, let me have it!
