  6. Got on the water around 7:30 am and headed out. Not sure where to go. But took the advice from local on where to start. Goofed around trying different things with no luck. So I gave topwater a try. All I can say is WOW. First cast, my lure exploded. Fish ON, baby! I ended up hooking five but only landed three. the other two threw the hooks. About 10 o'clock I moved on towards the arms. With no luck. After lunch, I went to the North lake and poked around. Ended up in Blacks arm. Got one on a crank off a point. Started to get that time to go, and I decided to finish the shore to the main point. And I'm glad I did. Biggest Bass I have ever caught. I let the picture talk for me. Here they are, the order I caught them and released. First fish Spit-n-image Second spit-n-image Third Torpedo Fourth Crankbait And finally "The One" Crank Bait Measured 20 inches. Wished I had a scale. Larry

Got about Nine lakes within a 1.5 hrs of GP. Nice about it, you can be over on the coast in about two hours and up in the forest in one. Thanks for all the Welcomes. Larry
