drop shot tip...
I've been known to take an egg sinker... the round ones with holes on both ends, i think thats what they are called... and tie it on to my tag end like a huge bait, using the good old standard fishing wrap and run the line through the hole knot... worked for me until i bought the weights that were actually meant for dropshotting

"plastic worm, weightless"
I was fishing the other day texas rigging a power worm and was getting skunked working docks and two kids working just behind me were killing them... talk about frustrating... so i asked what they were fishing and despite my best amusing banter the best i could get out of them was the subject of this thread... "plastic worm, weightless" so I ask you, my esteemed bassin fellows, what would work in my situation for weightless worming... the water is gin clear, you can see the bottom clearly at 10-15 feet and more, summer days, high 70s - low 80s water temp, southern CA. working floating docks with a grassy bottom... 1ft worth of grass or so any suggestions or thoughts would be great thanks so much

where do you tie onto those things? on the jig head or onto the snap part that is in the middle of the blade. Also, does anyone have and retrieval suggestions and/or how to fish? thanks

That's correct, the fishing club closed and the boy scouts own it now. You have to be affiliated with them to get on the lake... the construction of all the houses off of el toro caused run off which depleted the shad population in the lake, which in turn hurt the bass, but from what i understand its recovering, still see the aerator running when i drive by sometimes.. it was great fishing there, my dad and I fished it tons in the early mid 90s with the itchy fiberglass boats =)
