  1. i tend to user a heavier weight on windy days to keep in better contact with the bait.

  6. You can find the show now pretty regularly in the outdoor channel
  7. Episode 3 of 2014 season of The Bass Pros... Snowden did a Bass School 101 on tube jig heads that were weird in that fact that they allowed for a texas rig style skin hooking of the hook while still having the spiral fall of the standard tube jig head... i didnt catch the name of the specialized hardware he was using and idiot me deleted the episode off of my DVR Anyone catch the name of the jighead he was talking about? Thanks, Matt
  8. There was a lot caught on them at the classic this year if memory serves
  9. I've heard story after story of huge bass in that lake, ive even seen a big one come out of that lake... but ive only ever caught 1 bass in there... the closest i get to big bass is watching the big female that sits around the marina dock in the no fishing area... anyone have any tips for that lake... ps the lifeguards are really cracking down on the 15ft rule.. no casts or boats within 15ft of docks and such
  10. hey guys, i guess the same type of swim bait was used on both the 2008 and 2009 amistad elite series wins but both without mention of what the actual bait was... its looks like the type that you thread the line through and tie a #4 treble hook on and embed on barb on the swim bait.. any idea of who's swim bait they were actually using? thanks matthew
  11. what about using them deep in the winter, in a place where you would slow roll a spinner bait or maybe use a jig and want something that will kinda hit both

  18. awesome... thanks, I'll check into that
  19. taking a quality fishfinder like a mid priced lowrance or hummingbird... and turning it into a portable unit for rental boats etc.. I imagine a face plate mount connected to a mast (maybe telescopic?) that would extend down into the water to mount the transponder on, and the whole thing would clamp to the side of a boat... think hummingbird fishin buddy... or maybe i should just stick to a fishin buddy? thoughts?
