Who Uses Wake Baits?
I use a Jackall Mikey and Spro BBZ shad floater and they both catch fish for me.

The Rooster
I was wondering the same thing. Hadn't seen a few people in awhile.

Which Swimbaits To Look Into?
For starters, try a Jackall Mikey.

Multiple Casts
If I like the looks of a spot I will cast it multiple times. You never know. Like Sam said "Patience and consistency".

Uh Oh, Now I´m Worried !
Buy it If you got an itch, scratch it I say. I've been looking around the house lately for stuff to sell to fund my Megabass rod. Go ahead and get the reel. You'll thank yourself later.

Why Are The Roman Made Mother Swimbaits So Expensive?
Well spoken, in a day where everything is mass produced, hand crafted costs more. I've been looking at a knife for about a year that costs $500. I could pay a lot less for one somewhere else. Craftsmanship does stand for something. After seeing how the swimbait is made, it's worth the money.

Mono Or Fluoro For Swimbaits?
I'm sorry, I meant mono for big baits and floaters. Use the floor for your slow sink and fast sink baits.

Why Are The Roman Made Mother Swimbaits So Expensive?
Because people buy them at those prices. There's a subsection of fishermen who want the exclusivity of saying they can afford the best and in the marketplace price can be a determiner of quality. That's not always the case but it usually is.

Calcutta TE series is worth a mention.

This will be my first.

Technique Specific, Or Not.
Someone else had a previous thread on this. The only technique specific rods I would consider would be swimbait rods or Alabama rig rods. That's only because the specs are so far outside the norm I couldn't use them for anything else.

Megabass F8.5-710Xbj "punching And Swimbait"
I need someone to talk me out of buying this rod or I'm probably gonna get it and pair it up with my Conquest 250 TE DC. I wanna use it to throw swimbaits from the Savage Gear Line Thru series and the rumored smaller Line Thru baits. The weight range is what's got me hooked. It's climbing the charts on m Christmas list fast.

Conquest Coming To Our Shores
The new Shimano Conquest is coming to our shores. It's probably not going to cannibalize sales of the D model Calcutta. Those consumers who liked the old model Calcutta TE's did not buy the Calcutta's and probably ordered the conquest from Japan. Who wants to guess a pricepoint on the reel?

Shimano Rod Warranty
I guess I'm the only one with a good experience at Bass Pro. They exchanged my Crucials without batting an eyelash.

Anyone Ever Have Any Fishing Gear Stolen When Parked At A Store Or Restaurant?
That fact that they drugged the dog would make me mad enough to inflict grievous bodily harm much less the stuff they stole. You can do a lot to a man. Touch my dog and it's on.

Which Do You Use More, Light Wire Or Thicker Wire Hooks?
Unless I'm using a thick plastic bait, I usually use a light wire hook.

High Speed Reels Only
I guess I'm in the minority. My fastest reel is a 6.2:1 gear ratio. I feel sometimes that I can't fish my baits slow enough.
