At What Price Point Do You...
It ain't about bang for buck. I said before if it was about bang for buck, we'd all be using cast nets. You see it and it grabs you. Then you start doing the math in your head and rearranging priorities and before you know it, you have a new shiny piece of fishing joy.

At What Price Point Do You...
Just bought a reel for $440.00. I'm starting to think I don't have a "no" point.

Pre-Rigging Before A Trip
I pre-rig and adjust accordingly when my plan doesn't work as expected.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
The guys at my local BPS know me and did an exchange for 3 Shimano rods. They didn't have the models I brought in but let me take 3 that were pretty close and I couldn't have been happier. Let's just say when a relationship ends it's not only hearts that get broken.

Shimano Rods Icast '14
I still have 7 cork Crucials and didn't buy any of the new Crucials for that reason. If they go back to cork Crucials I might hold off on switching brands. The feel of the old Crucials and the over the counter warranty were major selling points for me.

The newest member of the family has arrived and she's a beaut. Experience And Dd Bass?
Still looking for mine, I'm pretty sure there's one in Pond X. There's a whole third of it I haven't even fished. Gonna get out on the pontoon and throw nothing but swimbaits and 12 inch worms. I plan on getting it done before the year is over.

Recommend Me A Swimbait Rod.
I do a lot of my fishing from the bank so the longer handle will be a plus for me.

Recommend Me A Swimbait Rod.
I looked at LDC and was kinda scared of by the lack of communication others have reported. This will not be my only rig. I plan on getting a bigger reel and a heavier rod too. I am going to look long and hard at the Dobyns. Everywhere I've looked over the last 3 years, the Mike Long swimbait rod keeps coming up.

Recommend Me A Swimbait Rod.
Bought a Conquest 250 DC to throw 1 to 3 ounce baits like the 3:16 Rising Son and other line thru swimbaits. Now I need a rod to pair with the reel. Looking for recommendations from the more experienced.

If You Have $200 To Spend, What Do You Buy?
Get a good reel or rod and save up and buy the other when the chance arises.
