Perfecta Worm/Jig Rod
Just wanted to give a little update after taking this rod the Guntersville and landing, not only my biggest fish of the trip, but my biggest to date with it. It was 6-14 and the rod never felt underpowered or stressed. I was also impressed with the sensitivity of the rod while fishing the grass there, I've mainly fished it around rocks with jigs so the feel was very different. This rod has really impressed me, so much that I have bought my second Pinnacle Perfecta rod, the 7'2''M spinning rod that hasn't seen much action yet but handled a 5lb channel cat wonderfully.

Best Choice Of Line
It depends on what type of Pline you're talking about, they all say FC coated. I had never broke off a fish until 3 weeks ago and broke off three at Guntersville, 2 on 15lb seagur red label on hookset or just after and one on 15lb Pline floroclear after I swung him into the boat, around 2 1/2 pounds. I usually use floroclear in the 10-12lb range on shallow cranks, I probably won't use the 15lb again and probably stick the CX or CXX. If you're using CX then switch to CXX.

Daiwa Pixy?
I bought an amber orange pixy last year for $170 on eBay. I was kind of iffy since it went for so low but it's a great little reel. Had to take a step back and learn how to cast it but now it works fine. If you do get an old one, there is a carbotex drop in kit that is well worth the purchase.

Tip Heavy Rods
The BPS balancers work for split grip rods, a buddy has them on most of his Kistlers.

Revo Or Curado...
I am also going to say Curado. I have 5 and a Citica and really like them all. I have a '10 SX that is a pretty good reel and an '09 Premeir that is going to the Flea Market soon. You'd think their top of the line reel would be better than a mid priced reel but it's not so. I had the Premier almost locked down and still had backlashes every other cast, it was ridiculous. I feel a centrifugal brake is far superior and more user friendly than the Revo mag brakes. Two VBS cent brakes on in 15-20mph winds and a few small overruns all week but 100% revo mag with a tight cast control will blow up in a slight breeze.

Kistler Mag Ts Casting Rod
I bought a Helium II last year when TW closed them out at $160, I'm not a big kistler fan, I liked the mags but their MH handles are too short for my liking and they aren't as balance as other simlar rods, best $160 I have ever spent. Really gave it a work out at Guntersville a few weeks back and would really consider buying another if the price was right.

Field & Stream Tec Spec Rods On Sale
Really good rod for that price...I bought one last year to try out and was impressed. They are a great rod at their normal price, have never seen them for $89, but at $40 they are hard to beat.

Looking For Reviews On...
I honestly can't see any improvement of performance with micro guides

Kistler Mag Ts Casting Rod
IMO they are good rods but the Powells are just as good for cheaper and the Dobyns Savvy is better for the same price. Now, if you can get one at the closeout price of around $100, buy three.

Shimano Cardiff 300 Or Daiwa Coastal (Not Zillion Coastal)
I've got a Cardiff 300A for a musky reel. Great reel for larger lines, should work perfectly for swimbaits. I prefer it over my Revo Toro.

Watching it right now on my iPhone at work. Really glad to see another season. Wish I had WFN.

Mattlure Ultimate Blind Bluegill
I wouldn't worry about it...You could have used a green pumpkin to match closer to the bait but I don't think it will have a negative effect.

Mystery Creature/fish Chomped My Worm
I kept losing anaconda tails last summer and finally got fed up with it and took a dive.... This is what I saw....I'll never swim in that lake again

G.loomis Tfo Rods ($100) Vs. Similar Priced Rods (St. Croix Triumph Etc. $100)
I think the price of some boats are directly proportional to grip length

Rage Baby Craw?
I have used all the colors of the baby craw except the Pearl and my favorites are watermelon red, candy craw, and the bama craw.

Revo S Vs. Patriarch
I had 2 Revo S's, both were aweful, one started falling apart the first day I used it. Both felt stiff and didn't cast well at all, got rid of them both within a few weeks of having them. I currently have 2 Patriarchs and have owned around 6 and really like them. They don't get fished as much as they should but they are leaps and bounds above the Revo S.

Trigger-X Baits
I bought some tubes when they were on clearance at Wal-Mart last year. For $.50 they were great...for actual retail they are an absolute rip-off. The ones I bought were marked down from $7.99 and were only 4-6 in a pack. They tear really easily, dryout quick, and stink terribly. I had some success with them but nothing amazing compared to regular tubes.

Seaguar Red Label

Boyd Duckett Rods......
I don't see a difference except the foam and color...you're paying the extra $20 to Lazer Lure for putting their name on it
