How many times has this happened to you?
It's happened to me twice too. The first time I was using a Norman's Deep Little N. The lure sat right on top of the water while I was trying to fix the over-run and out of the corner of my eye I saw a bass ****** it up. That was my first Deep Little N top water bass I ever caught!

How many times has this happened to you?
You've located the perfect hiding spot for that big mama; a hole in the mat next to a rotting log. You swing your bait caster into action and drop your (insert favorite bait here) with pin point accuracy exactly where you wanted it but your spool is spinning out of control. You instantly slam your thumb onto the spool in hopes that you've caught it in time but glance down to notice a level 9 'trip-ender' rat's nest that would make Don King's hair style seem like an easy comb-out. @&*$#&!&^@(*&!!!! You press the button and roll the spool backward a few turns then forward thinking "it'll come out...won't it?" Then all of a sudden the familiar feeling of a largemouth slamming your bait and jerking the rod almost out of your hands changes your focus. What do you do? Land the fish by hand or fix the spool? This happened to me on Sunday. I was so ticked that I opted to fix the spool and then fight the monster. How many of you have had this happen? I'm betting many! Let's hear it.

Arkie Salty Crawlin' Grubs
I'm going to my favorite back woods fishin' hole tomorrow where I usually throw Senkos, tubes, 6" Roboworms and top water. Today while at WalMart I picked up some Arkie Salty Crawlin' Grubs along with my usual haul. Anyone have any luck with these? I figure I'll put it on a 3/0 EWG with a pegged bullet weight.

Does this happen very often? Pics..
I've had that happen to me on a Frenzy 'fire tiger' crankbait. I caught 2 larges at once. One went 14 inches and the other 16. The cool thing was that I was with my my kids when I caught it. They got a big kick out it.

tug tug set the hook lol
I do the same except after I yank I keep the pressure on. A fishin' buddy of mine does what we call "The Kentucky Jerk". Once he jerked back so hard that not only did he miss the fish but he jerked himself off the back of the boat. Good times.. :'(

Yum dinger vs senko (in my opinion)
Never used Yum Dingers. I just checked out Yum's website but didn't find any close up pics of the 5" Dingers. They boast "a unique hook slot for better hook-ups". Someone plz explain the hook slot. :-/ This Senko man is going broke!

The Secret Pond
I was going to suggest a Senko too, but I know how some people get around the 'S' word. Aw well... 5/0 EWG and a 9L Senko weightless. ;D *ahem*, you wouldn't happen to know the exact GPS location of thie pond now would you? :

Is it best to go bass fishing early or noon?
Early morning for me. Here is my scientific formula: Hungry fish + no lake lice = fantastic time.

how do you know when bass are spawning?
"how do you know when bass are spawning?" The bottom tip of the tail will be red (raw) from clearing a nest.

fishing by yourself or with a buddy
I used to have a bass fishin' buddy but he lost interest. Now I go alone. I still have great time.
