  1. And who says you need to spend a ton of money on gear!
  2. Glad everyone is OK, sorry about the gear. One thought is if your son can't fish for a while, us his gear. Then you can brag to him about all the fish you caught on his stuff!

  9. The price should be free if it is your uncle! If it is a field, make sure you put dryer sheets all over the inside, in each compartment. This will help keep the field mice from getting in and eating all of your wires.
  10. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/0808/oly.michael.phelps.covers/content.1.html The real first photo is pretty cool. He is a little goofy looking, but the medals look nice
  11. Actually Toyota has never had a rules violation. Michael Waltrip has had some rules violations, and now JGR has a rules violation. Just like it was Roush's team that had a violation with Carl Edwards oil lid cover. That was not Ford breaking the rules, just like this is not Toyota breaking the rules
  12. Can't beat those two fish on back to back days! Nice job
  13. Well, one thing I have learned this summer from this page and from my fishing experiences is that when in doubt, set the hook. Hook sets are free as they say. You never know when it is going to be the fish of your life! So I went out tonight and was fishing a pipe. the first cast, got a little nibble, waited for more, nothing. Next cast was the same thing. On the third cast I got a nibble and SET the hook. The bait was about 10 feet off shore from me. As I set the hook, here comes my 6 inch worm t-rigged flying out of the water over my left shoulder landing 10 feet behind me. Now, this is not abnormal so far, but I have not told you that attached to the 6 inch worm and hook was a 5 inch bass. Poor thing was in the water minding her own business one second, and then going on a 20 foot ride out of the water and into the air the next second! It came off the hook and was flopping around, but I was laughing so hard I could not crab her. I had to take a deep breath before I could get her back into the water. I have had lures fly at me before, but never with fish attached!

  19. I will be honest, I have 2 swim baits but no confidence in them because they are soooooo big, but man, that picture clears up that issue! They are not so big! GREAT fish! and GREAT photos! I will try again with them.
  20. moving fish from one body to another is also a good way to possible spread disease into a lake that might not have it. This will have the reverse affect that you are looking for
  21. I would be pretty cool if it is true, but I will believe it when I see more proof
  22. Yes the increased torque will assist in the getting up to speed on the interstate. I sell RV's and we describe it to people with the pickle jar story. When you twist open a pickle jar open it is the torque that gets the lid to start moving, and it is the HP that keeps it moving until it is open.
