  1. Praying for you and your family.
  2. I haven’t been to the backs yet, but continue to catch fish about 1/2 way back in major creeks. Creek swings have been the best bite, but I did find quite a bit of fish on ledges today too. Caught some good fish today on a jig.
  3. Fished Toledo today launched at Cypress Bend at daylight. Searched around mid lake until noon with zero to show for it, no bites, no fish on graph, nothing. Finally ran down south and found a school of fish on a creek channel swing. Inside swing was 18’ with a 25’ Creek running around it. Caught 17 real quick. Top 5 16-17lbs all on a 6xd and Arig. Found another group on a road bed in 20’. Caught a few on dropshot and Arig. It was tough today. Not much fish to see on electronics. Hopefully that changes soon.
  4. Yep. Remove the rod tubes and use rod sleeves and you’d be surprised how many will fit. I could probably fit another 20 between both lockers if I wanted.
  5. I will be on Toledo this weekend, but I do know a guy that will be on Rayburn and has been on some fish. They just closed the public ramp yesterday and looks like it will remain closed for a few weeks. Feel free to call me at 318-308-5818 if you need some more info.
  6. It’s a Puma FTD. Lots of Dobyns cranking rods lol
  7. This may not apply to most as I carry 48 rods in my boat, but if I’m on a good Crankbait bite, I may have 15 rigged up. Different colors, different rattles, different brands, etc. I always have 2 Carolina rigs and 2 jigs rigged up everyday.
  8. Too early for that. Look in 15-25’
  9. Toledo is finally fishin good!
  10. It’ll be interesting to see who figures it out for the FLW tour this week. I’ve been on a very specific pattern, but man it’s turning up big numbers and size. I feel if anyone else gets on it, 25lbs a day is doable.
  11. Better get you some 3/4 and 1 oz traps. The grass is DEEP with the lake being 9’ high
  12. I use the same rod, a Dobyns 806cb, for 10xds. And I use Daiwa Tatulas for my cranking reels. Been using them for years with zero issues
  13. Lews Super Duty wide Spool
  14. One day I’ll be back on Toledo, but Rayburn is fishing so good right now it’s hard to not go there. We caught 94 bass Thursday and about 20 whites. It is one fire!
  15. Been on Rayburn exclusively for a couple months now. We’ve had some great days! Thursday we boated 94 bass and about 20 whites. The fish are starting to move into prespawn stuff so we are moving with them. Still fishing deeper water, but closer to spawning flats. Arigs, Crigs, and a dropshot
  16. North for you lol. Lakes are on the border of LA and TX. Winter temps range from 30s-60s and water temps hover around 50.
  17. For all you guys that are froze over for the winter and looking for a fishing trip between now and soft water, Rayburn and Toledo is a great trip to make. We have been catching good numbers on Rayburn with some 25lb bags mixed in. Traps, Arigs, FB jigs, big cranks, and Carolina rigs have caught the majority of our fish. Toledo isn’t putting out the numbers, but the average size has been really good.
  18. Brought my son back with me to Rayburn yesterday to let him in on the action. We boated 70 and had well over 150 bites. Its hard for a 6 year old to set the hook in 34' of water lol. We had a blast and have memories that will last a lifetime. Same patterns, roadbeds and creek swings.
  19. I haven’t been on Toledo in a couple weeks, but Friday I caught over 150 mostly on a spoon in 32-34’. It’s that time of year
  20. A little late, but I fished Rayburn this past Friday. Boated over 150 bass on drop shots, spoons, and blade baits in 32-34’ of water. Roadbeds, creekswings, and hard spots held big numbers. Not a lot of size but did have 2 over 4lbs and my top 5 would have went about 19lbs. Lots of fun!
  21. I don’t fish it a lot, but I do have a couple spots I check with my graph when I run past it. I’ve caught some good fish there before.
  22. Boone’s is on the LA side. It’s directly across the lake from that boat road running E/W in your pic
  23. I’m a fan of pflueger springing reels. The Supreme is a fine real at your price point.
  24. For sure the Dobyns Champion 734 is the best all around rod they make. You can literally throw just about anything on it and it will handle it well.
