  5. Beeerrry Interesting...Dat vill come in handy! Bowatatatataahhhhhhh!
  6. Fished Echo last night with the Tuesday night tourney guys up north and once again had a great time. Great bunch of guys who can really fish. Found a sweet spot where they were staging up at the 1st drop off and had a good night. Me and my partner Bobby finish a very respectable 3rd place with 6 fish and almost 10 pounds. Thanks again guys for putting together a great T.
  7. ROTFLMMFAO!!!!! IT TOOK A WHILE BUT I GOT IT, LOL.
  8. Headed out on monday with John C and was scooled in bed fishing, lol. Saw a ton of smalies guarding beds. Larry Largies were staged just a bit off the beds and didn't want anything to do with us. Caught a bunch of smaller largemouth and one 3-4 pounder each. Smallies were much easier to catch and were aggressive as usual. I had a GREAT day and can't thank john enough for taking me out to catch some smallies. It had been a while.
  9. Also, me and a friend are going to set one up but it's not going to be until a month or so. Just too many other T's going on right now. I will post it when it gets close if your interested just contact me then.
  10. It's hard to get one going because theres so many others out there. I have been fishing 2 that go on every week. They are not car toppers only but the ponds they fish at mostly are 10 hp and under spots. Just PM me if your interested.
  11. I wouldnt be too happy to see them. All they are is trouble. Hope we dont get them up here.
  12. Fished Indian Lake saturday in the Bostich Bass anglers open. Great bunch of guys. Most everyone had a great day. I found all mine in the shallows and in 3 to 4 foot flats. The winner had around 14 lbs. I got my limit but they just werent big enough to make a rund at it. Again I saw a ton of new beds but no one was home. Hitting Echo Lake on monday to prefish for tuesday night Tourney. I was there last week but it was brutal with the cold front that came in. Hopefully its better this week.
  13. Yes Rhino I am seeing the same thing. Was out yesterday at Stump pond and even though it was a chilly day the water temp on my electronics was a consistant 65 degrees. Bass were in the shallows cleaning out spots to bed. If it wasnt for this big cold front thats going to be hanging around for a while they wouldnt be far off from the spawn. Unfortunatly this will delay them more.
  14. I agree, I guess I was getting a little too anxious . Especially seeing how this morning is 40 degrees cooler than it was 3 days ago! Sheeeezzz. This is just like last spring.
  15. Gotta go with The Space Monkey or Mike Iconelli for those that don't know his alter personality, lol ! After all he's my piason! The only Italian on the circut and he's a pretty good fishemam to boot.
  16. Fished the Blackstone CF ramp yesterday. Caught all our fish in the shallows in still water. Temps got all the way up to almost 70 degrees! Again all fish were in 1-2 feet of water. Fish were quite active and were chasing spinnerbaits and Lake Fork Shad. No bigguns but they were there somewhere. Looks like they are going to start making their beds any day.
  17. Once again me and my partner Bob L who hates computers and doesn't get on here, lol, had a great time. f course winning didn't hurt ;D . I agree with Paul as it was a tough day. We decided to stay in the big cove at the Blackstone and it took some time but it did finally pay off. The bite was still real slow in the morning even with the warm temps. We caught one early on but it took until after lunch to warm up but once it did it was hot. We figured that they would be moving into the cove to start staking their claim to where they are gonna bed and sure enough it paid off. All fish were caught in 1 to 2 feet of water. Basically the Lake Fork Magic Shad won the tourney. I am very impreesed with this bait and have been for a while. We spent a total of an hour on the river and just didn't think it was the place to be. Granted we didn't catch and 3 or 4 pounders but it was so tough we felt 1 and 2 would do it. Thanks to Paul for setting it up. Looking forward to Norton. Anthony.
  18. LMAO Hes a deep sleeper to say the least, lol.
  19. Just got out yesterday with my new setup. A Shimano Citica 200 and a new St Croix Mojo baby. WOW is all I can say for the money I spent. The combo cost me 210 and honestly it compeats with my 300+ combos! I know everyone knows ablut the Citica but for those that have never used one, or haven't tried the new Mojo, GO GET THEM. The Mojo is a 7ft model, Med Heavy, Mod action. I have 40 pound Stren Braid on it and its awsome!
  20. Why just Dawia? You ruling out THE BEST reel for under 120 made and it's the Shimano Citica. This reel is awsome. It competes with reels 2 times the price. I think your making a mistake not even considering it.
  21. The last few trips out I have been catching Bass in very shallow water and just wondering what others in the area are finding. Actually I was surprised to catch virtually none in deeper water. Still seems kinda early to be all shallow as everywhere I fished with the exception of Roger Williams which was 56 degress, was around 51 degrees on my electronics. I realize the shallows warm up fast but even before the sun comes out for a while and has a chance to warm up the water Im still getting them shallow. Got out yesterday but didnt take the boat and sure enough there they were in 1 to 2 feet of water and it was chilly. I caught all 6 Bass in the last 20 or so yards of my retrive. I was just interested what others were finding.
  22. If I have a choice I'll take the AM
  23. I'm not the most graceful 330 pounder out there although Paul said I got high marks for my dive as I was going out of the boat, lmao. What I want to know is how many of you guys would have gone to Walmart and got a complete set of clothes including shoes and gone and fished the day out till almost 5 after going into 40 degree water? Is it stupidity or dedication, lol. I'll take the latter
  24. Dark water=dark lures, clear water=natural lures. I like a Midnight special pinner bait by strike king, or any dark colored colorado blade spinnerbait A black jig with rattles with black trailer A texas style black worm with Gamblers rattle bullet weights Basically you need noise and a dark siloutte Good Luck!
