Well I get a stoll which could be compaired to a tree or brush, a small foot stoll witch has in the bottom of it 3 inch by 3 inch square sections and I try to throw in the middle of it as if it were vegitation with a 3inch hole I would want to pitch in.....and a log witch I look were I want to toss the bait .....maby behind it or the righ tor left side then I throw hoping it to hit what ever spot I picked out.........heres some pics

I havent really gotten deep into the new weekend series rules, thats great news thought. Either way im going to fish every tournament in division 6 MY HARDEST, and do my best to stay as high in points as possible. This is my first year fishing any kind of tournament, im young only 17. Im going to try my hardest to make a name for myself and If I dont do so good this year I will try my Hardest next year. I notice when I was out on Okeechobee flipping and pitching that I was a little off with my accuracy, So from now untill Feb 11th (next tourney) Im going to take 1 hour each day flipping and pitch so I can get better. Throwing more accuratly is important because if your off by 12 inches thats one fish you could have caught but didnt, So im going to work on that. I already have an idea of what im going to throw next time but weather and different variables change so I should have my game plan worked out about 4 days before the tourney. Im just lookng for another top 10 finish and maby another check..................................................................................................About the dead fish, I dont want to comment on that because everyone has an opinion and its pointless arguing....No hard fellings thought, And sorry I will remember not to use "Oh well thats fishing" in any future weight-in's.

He swollowed the hook......we put stuff in the livewell to help him out......I did my best to keep him alive.....I believe that is fishing......some times your going to have a fish that gets hooked bad and died....I did my best to keep him alive.....and If the guy said he was alive or dead either way the fish is gonna die.....the fish was still alive it wasnt looking so good though........If the guys thought has was alive and would have called it that way honestly I owuld have been ok wiht that because its not gonna change if the fish is gonna die or not.........but I wouldnt of had a penlty and I would have had 300 more dollars in my pocket so I dont fell guilty.................Either way the fish was a goner.....Me and my boater did what we could :-/

My friend Is looking for a non-boater to sign up with him for the bassmaster weekend series okeechobee division 6...........they launch at okee-tantie and hes looking for some one to sign up with him to fish the rest of the season........there are 4 tournaments left one in feb one in march one in april one in oct...............pm me if oyur intersted and il give you his number...........hes knows what hes doing to he used ot guide on the lake

So it was my first tournament ever......I decided I want to start out in the Bassmaster Weekend Series instead of a local club. My goal was to catch 1 or 2 fish to get some points Because I knew alot of guys were gonna come back empty handed and I wanted to get a fish so I could stand good in the points. The FLW Stren Series and a local club tourney Had just got done with thier tournaments so I knew the lake had been fished pretty hard and the fish were going to be hard to come by, But I went out got my first fish like I wanted and from then on out I just had fun and got my limit. . When I got back to the wieght in I saw that one fish was dieing. I knew that was a 8 ounce penalty when the guy was checking my fish first he said they were all alive and I was so thrilled, But then just before he put the fish back in the bag he looked at my fish and said wait ones dead............... Man was I disapointed.....I got the 8 once penalty......I ended up comeing in 5th and got a pay check in my first tournament ever but if that fish would of stayed alive I would have probably came in 3rd but O well thats fishing..................next tournaments in one months Im looking forward to that........my goal is to stay in the top 8 in points so I can go to the Divisional Championship ........I wasnt expecting my first year to start out this good......but it has

This thread opened up my eyes the last few days whil eive been fishing ponds around my area......ive learn to look at each pond differently not just throwing the same thin ever pond I go to

Its been a year sence I caught a crappie and today when I was oging for bass with a rattle trap a crappie decide he liked it

Ha Ha ......I seen that......(P.S thats not me its my little brother)..........but ya he was thinking about throwing a spinner bait but we just stuck to worms and rattle traps............we will definatly try a spinner bait next time............and thats part of his shirt lol........at first I was like wow.......and asked him about it and he said its part of his shirt...... ;D...............I forgot to say that he also lost what he thought would have been his pb.....he had that blue lizard on and he almost had it in when .........slurp.......a bass cam up and sucked it in and ran off so fast it snapped his line............and later in the day he was like ..............COREY COREY COME HERE I GOT A HUGE ONE ON.........from the look of his pole and the tight line I was sure it was 10lbs.............it did turn out to be what looked like 10lbs............but not a bass............it was a snapin turtle, i let it go........lol he was disapointed it wasnt a bass

Well my first cast with my rattle trap I caught a Crappie in my pond witch really surprised me becasue for the last 5 years ive been fishing these ponds ive never caught a crappie.........I also caught a couple dinks with my rattle trap..........and my brother caught a dink with a ribbon tailed worm...........the pic came out nice....to bad his fish couldnt be bigger

I have about 7 ponds around my area..........there all much different.............some the fish hold deeper some the fish are only around the shallows............some ponds the fish love fast moving cranks some ponds there really slow and love slow moving plastic..........I think it just all depends

Well when I first started fishing I had truoble hooking up alot and lost many great fish.....but the one time I will never forget is when it was my dad my brother and I........I didnt loss the fish but my brother had about a 12lb on.............it was his first cast of the day. and my dad went to lip it and pulled it half way out of the water when it flopped and threw the hook..... :-/

Today at school before we were let out our principle came on the air and said to have a safe and fun winter break and have a Merry Christmas........I was sure he was gonna say happy holidays........but na ...hes to cool fer that.................MERRY CHRISTMAS

I used to hate mike with a passion.......but over this last year Ive grew to love em..........never thought id say this but im goin with IKE ;D

I bought a few over the summer.........I havent fished them to much ....Ive caugh a couple ......I just havent built my condfedence with em yet......but after reading all the good feed back im gonna look into em a lil more

I catch the most bass on soft plastics....I dont have a favorite one.........my confedence use to be lizards.....then its went to brush hogs.....now im more into senkos and ribbon tailed worms.......it just depends what I fell more confedent with that day..........and for big bass......Jig-N-Pig

Ya I hear ya .......this is my private pond....Ive been fishing it for about 6 years....the last 2 years i let up alot......I use to catch 6 pounders and had an average of about 2lb's....but in the last 2 years ive worked on it alot and made it really nice....but some how junk fish found thier way in and have destroyed the fishing :-/

Got home from school and had an hour before work....I looked at the weather and it apeared a front was coming threw.....So I went out to my pond and Observed for a minute.....it seems threy were chasing minows alot so I got my pole and Rat-L-Trap and threw it for about 30 minute.......I had about 3 hits and coaght a dink........man my pond ant what it use to be :-[ ...........heres the pic anyway :-/
